Sale price: $3,150.00 make an offer
Car location: Sydney, NSW, Australia
Seller's notes: Has Some Rust On The door Edges & boot lid. Please Look At Photos. Kindly i PLEASE ask you dont bid if your not prepared to repair the remaining rust. Nothing major for an experienced car enthusiast. I’m selling it WAYYYY cheaper than what it owes me to date with repairs done already. You wont believe it but it has cost me to date between 8-9k so far because i done things properly. I brought it some years ago with intentions to restore it, but as I said my health has suffered recently so I need to let it go because it’s a waste just sitting there. It does need some rust repairs in small areas above, i must highlight. Visible in the pictures. So far this restoration has started correctly from the bottom up. The chas & the floor, and the undercarriage is all BRAND NEW, not restored, BUT BRAND NEW. I purchased entire floor panning and had them factory welded back in. Prior to this the car was put on an elevated jig and professionally prepped, and repainted in original code paint 2 pac.

I have a reserve price noted. and i reserve the right to not sell if it does not meet the reserve. However I am reasonable and will let this vintage go if bidders are genuine and honestly bid to a viable price for me to consider sending the last bidder a 2nd chance ebay offer. So all i can say is if you have a particular budget. then bid your limit. and if its fair i may let it go. I have so many people emailing me to sell it before auction ends that i cant keep up with emails. So please just bid and let your highest offer be the decider.
It owes me over 8k so far yet you wouldnt puck it. It was stripped. then sent away for sand blasting which costed 3k alone. then had entire flooring replaced with new genuine pans and floor. then sound deadend and then painted with white 2pac underneath and inside floor. Then the steering and cross members where restored and powder coated and refited. It comes with everything to make it into an entire car again. But please dont be unrealistic either. Im not a dodgy car yard. and i dont tell lies. I am a private person who was retoring it from my heart doing a hood job. Not a rubbish job like some i seen. I could have just brought one complete Vs me restoring it. I chose to restore myself becsuse i could do everything to my quality standards instead of be told lies by other sellers. Atleast this mini is pulled appart in boxes and bare shell is naked so you can see the truth. I honestly dont have the time between my work hours to show people the car during the day. I work tiring hours and im buggered by end of day and need my dinner then rest. But if you want to see it. your welcome after 6:30pm. All i ask is dont bid if you have no intension of picking it up or want to use your bid as a means of reservation to look at it then walk away. I will report that type of bids to ebay and paypal. Common sense please. its in need of completion and needs your TLC. But what im saying is the work ive mentioned that has been done to date. is of A grade standards.
I am not in a rush and will simply keep relisting it week after week on ebay if does not make a fair price untill it sells for something acceptable. It has sold now 3 times and i have said no. Maybe just save me as a seller and keep checking back if its listed again. Means it didnt make enough. But as soon as it does. i will be selling it.
I have provided pictures of the car. including the last number plate. ustralian compliance plate. And the British Motor Corporation as historical confirmation.
This shape was used for the police. and then raced at Bathurst. Thepart that is attractive about this car is the fact it's a 1963 model. For anycollector who appreciates age over beauty. understands the importance of an aged collectable. The mere factthat she has hit its 52nd anniversary is rare & where value can be appreciated. Almost doubled the antique 30 year rule of thumb. 52 years old currently. not far from a 60 year classic. I'd prefer to have anolder rarer Morris mini in a 63 model. rather than a 73. 74. 5. 6. 8 mini and soon. You can still locate many later models. but not true 63's. There might only be 10 leftregistered in NSW altogether with an Australian 63 year old badge.
To put a vintageback on the road after 52 years would be a trip through time. When I initiallybrought it 10 years ago. that was the plan. to bring it back to its new glory.
My buddies would tell me that just staring at it gets them lost in time. each with their own memories of that era was what made it extra special. and what they weredoing in 1963. One of my friends said to me. "do you know how many peoplehave lived and died since this car was born?" and he was right. The worldhas changed many times over. and this piece of history has survived the times. Call me ahistorian. call me nostalgic. all me "Mr Bean”. well maybe I am. and I'd like to remember life was still that simple today. Whoever can finish this beautiful "classic" will always have astory to tell. and retain the value in the history alone. and own a piece of history for many years to come. Sadly I fell short of my plan to finish the mini project because of illhealth. But I've done all the hard work for someone to take over.
Prior to any body repair commenced. was sent away for total sand blastto expose all if any rust. It was pretty good. Certain parts we decided to replace because it was cheaper. such as the floors. Nicer to buyan original new floors from the Australian mini Morris factory. Remaining paintrequired is the top of car. spray. & final upper body prep etc. . then refit the engine. lectrical. instruments. go get a blue slip. and off you go.
Please note I'm selling it WAYYYY cheaper than what it owes me to datewith repairs done already. Im happy to let it go at a loss. but im not going to be silly on the price. Fair is Fair.
Also understand it does need some rust repairs in small areas. However I have started the restoration correctly from thebottom up. The bottom end. the floor. and the undercarriage is all BRAND NEW. ot restored. BUT BRAND NEW. I purchased entire floor pans also and had themfactory welded back in. then the car was put on an elevated jig and professionallyprepped. and repainted beneath and inside the cabin floor. Original paint codewas used in 2 Pac

Note: As Mentioned at the top of advert. this Mini Morris Minor has no rego Noplates. Has not been registered since 2007. Does have some rust. However. withthe rust repairs completed. will be worth a real decent amount and will only keep going up in value as it gets older. Especiallyafter seeing what other websites where selling completed ones for. You couldget this project finished way less cost than theirs. Further. they aren't even thisold & rare. or the same body model. some of them with the flat lights. I hope people are realisticwhen bidding as I must report any false bidders. This item is going cheap aschips compared to what it will be worth on completion and what I spent. thecosts added up and I had spent thousands before I knew it. So people need toLook at the pictures. and if you need more pictures. I'm more than happy toprovide them as requested. But it will be presumed that the final winning bidmust come and pick up the item cash on pick up please. I never tell lies toanyone. and my 100% feedback should be some form of proof of that over manyyears. Many Thanks. and happy bidding.

IMPORTANT: i need to underline that the auction winner will be required to honor the auction and pay for the vehicle. I wont be happy if the winning bidder bids with the opinion that he or she can bid. but want to come look. and walk away. I am so sorry. but i will report that to paypal. and to ebay. Why? Because it wastes time when people lie. and also stops others from buying the car. This isnt a case of winning bidder comes and looks at the car like an NRMA inspection and wants to deffect the car and say "naah. I'll give it a miss" this car is an old classic. and needs to be completed. It is as described in the advert. Im a gentlemen. and expect the final bid to be a gentlemen too. If you are not willing to work on a car. id honestly and respectfully suggest you locate a complete and immaculate registered 1963 mini morris minor and enjoy it. This project is for someone who wants to complete the car to their standard and specs. These cars are as rare as they come. I ask that ALL bidders be as realistic as possible. Best of luck

Again i want to update based on the fact that i have already declared it about 76 times now from the start should be enough for you to consider that the upper part of car now needs these minor repairs for prep and spray. However any person with genuine view of restoring this. and has experience knows that these types of things are not major or wont make or break the project. I've has some unreal people expecting the car to be in showroom body condition. To those people. please don't bid. I say that respectfully. If it was a perfect car. it would be going WAY more than it is at this bargain price. And YES. i wish to confirm to all the people still asking if it comes with everything. YES YES YES it comes with the engine. gearbox. interior as pictured. electrical. tacos. everything to use when re-assembling. So your not just bidding on the shell. Its an entire car that i paid a panel beater to pull it apart to get it ready to restore. Its better for you to buy it that way than buy one still intact because you save yourself the hassle and labor & money of striping it without breaking things.
Many have also asked what i will sell it for without ebay. To answer that. i cant sell it outside ebay because it's now an auction and would be un-loyal for me to lie to ebay. It has a reserve. and the reserve isn't met yet. However if it comes somewhere close to the reserve i may consider letting it go for less and give that person a 2nd chance offer. I will send this message to you through ebay when it ends. I don't expect to get my money back. i just want to sell it for something reasonable. But if its half decent price at end auction i will notify the winning bidder they can own it. So i would just say to those asking me to accept offers. just bid whatever your limit is. or buy it now price. and let the rest take it's course. You may honestly be the max winning bidder. Don't be afraid to put your max bid your willing to go. i wont be offended. If that's what you wish to pay that's fine. Obviously the auction will decide what the car is worth. Just remember. there aren't any or MANY "1963" models registered in NSW. Your bidding on the aged compliance plate.
And i want to leave you good feedback. and you too leave me 100% feedback. So please don't bid if you are not a buyer. I'm a married man with children. family. and not a young person like those that can be found on untrustable sites like gumtree. What i say is 100% simply because i don't have the head space to waste time. in addition. that's just not how i was brought up. Now for the 50th time to all those people that caused me to write this update. Please go ahead and bid with confidence. :-)
God Bless
Daniel
