EXTERIOR
Finished in the desirable Guards Red. the paintwork on this Carrera perfectly accentuates the iconic lines of the Porsche 911. Having originated from a dry climate there are no signs of any corrosion to the exterior. Furthermore the body displays a dazzling shine. and aside from one or two minor imperfections to a couple of panels. this 964 is a very smart example indeed.

Opening and closing at the touch of a button. the fully electric folding roof remains in fine order and displays a good colouring. with a damage-free rear window to match. Once neatly folded away. the soft-top is well protected by the fitted black tonneau cover.

INTERIOR
This Porsche is equipped with perforated black leather seats. both of which appear pristine and have little or no wear to speak of. Despite its origins in a warm climate. there is zero cracking to the upholstery. with no signs of any sun damage or distortion to the dash or fascia.

On close inspection the dials remain clear. and the switchgear feels solid to operate. Furthermore. the carpets throughout present impeccably and the leather door cards are also entirely scuff-free. The carpet in the luggage compartment is also really good. and the under-bonnet is complete with the factory options code sticker.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Beneath the ventilated boot lid. discreetly housing the retractable rear spoiler. lurks the heart of the beast. The 3. 6-litre engine bursts into life with a conspicuous roar at first turn of the key. and idles up to temperature well.

All components appear visibly healthy. with the engine bay itself showing no signs of any corrosion. What's more. the spot welds around the opening are perfectly intact; evidence that the rear-end has never sustained any major damage over the years.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
This 964 sits on the 17-inch Cup design alloy wheels. which present well but could benefit from refurbishment if pernickety. The alloys are shod in a matching set of Falken tyres. each with ample tread remaining.

Between the spokes the branded Porsche calipers present well and do a good job of pulling the car up to a halt quickly and in straight line.

HISTORY FILE
First registered on 31st December 1994. this Porsche has covered just 74k miles since new. Present in the history file is the Porsche leather document holder complete with the dealer-supplied Maintenance booklet. Warranty handbook. and Owner's Manual. An original sales brochure for the 964 is also included. as is the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity for the vehicle.

Since arriving in the UK in 2014. the Carrera has received a full service by Porsche specialists. R&D Automotive ltd. We also have a letter confirming that all duties and taxes have been paid. as well as paperwork documenting the vehicle's history since 1994.
