1973 VJ E48 Valiant Charger 'Street' version of E49.

170 made in 1972/3

In my family since 1996. Regretful sale.

Rebuilt in the early 80s from a rolled E37 using an original E48 body.

Original E48 except for VH R/T E37 grille and lights. VH rear glass. Recaro front seats . electronic ignition (points distributor available). Sankey Benson wheels (similiar to W35 factory wheels)

R/T E37 engine in good running condition with original E37 webers. E48 single rail 4 speed and 8 3/8" LSD (unique to E48). Has the usual E48 hump in the boot. Near new twin plate clutch.
I registered and drove this car regularly from 2004-2008.
Car was then dry stored for 7 years.

Minor rust as per pics but some rust in the usual areas (except plenum/front screen. firewall and floor) Chassis rail expertly repaired

Interior in good condition with all R/T trim. Carpet needs replacing.

Needs tires. re install dash. (VJ tacho dash supplied ) new ignition barrel. battery. service etc. All parts easily sourced.

Please no more time wasters. or pseudo experts. I know what I have it's a hybrid R/T. Not a clone or re body.
