The 'Write off World' website states this organisation is a
community to promote love. peace and unity for positive change.
What this actually translates as is the story of its founder. Mac
Ferrari. who grew up in North London and from his particular
vantage point; he witnessed poverty. crime and injustice teamed
with the failure in education. the lack of youth provisions. br/>misguided youth and demise of community spirit and values. Instead
of adding to the problem. Mac noticed the difference that a little
love. guidance and care could bring to the minds of many. both
young and old.
With some help and guidance along the way. as well as his
treasured BMW 645Ci. he launched 'Write off World'. The energy that
came from these first few signatures was the confirmation that he
needed that his 'crazy' idea was the 'never been done before' thing
to do. "THIS WAS THE WRITE-OFF!" Mac said "Cars get written-off all
the time in return for an insurance payout. I decided to write-off
my car in a different way to create insurance for our futures".
That insurance is a youth centre providing a safe haven for
children and teenagers that they can connect with throughout their
transition into adulthood.
With appearance all over the UK under his belt and over an
estimated 25. 00 signatures now applied. this BMW is now up there
with the Lichtenstein. Hockney and Warhol 'Art Cars of the 70's and
80's.
Supplies with an MoT valid for 12 months. a service history as
well as a complementary health check from BMW themselves. all funds
including seller's commission. are to be donated to the
project.
Everybody is invited to sign the car and by doing so. not only
becoming a part of history but also contributing to the greater
good.
