EQUIPMENT

EXTERIOR
The Arctic Silver paintwork on the 993 presents well and is wonderfully bright. With almost no signs of any imperfections to the front end. there are no scuffs or unsightly dings around the car whatsoever. Aside from a small scratch to the passenger side rear flank decal. the car remains almost entirely blemish-free.

Having spent its life in a dry climate there is no corrosion to be found at all. What's more. all the lenses around the car are crystal clear and crack-free. Sharing its body with the Turbo. this Carrera 4S certainly has an imposing stance.

INTERIOR
The black leather upholstery within the C4S remains soft. supple. and perfectly supportive. Aside from the usual minor wrinkles in the leather. the seats present beautifully and show no signs of repair or connolisation.

The steering wheel retains a good texture with the dash and centre console presenting as new. The fascia is complete with the rare and original Porsche cassette player. plus all the switchgear remains solid to operate. Furthermore. the carpets and over-mats show very little signs of wear. and the rear seats appear to have rarely been used. The carpet extends to under the bonnet. which also presents immaculately.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Unsurprisingly the engine bay looks perfect with absolutely no corrosion whatsoever. All components appear factory-fresh following a lengthy detailing session. with the engine itself remarkably clean.

The 3. 6-litre unit sounds just as the factory intended. and seems to have been well maintained throughout its life. with every mechanical component in fine fettle.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 993 sits on the 18-inch Turbo alloy wheels which are in excellent order. with only minor curb marking to a couple of them. The alloys are shod in a matching set of Bridgestone tyres with ample tread remaining.

Between the spokes the bright red Porsche calipers provide a bold contrast to the otherwise monochrome colour scheme. with the ventilated discs also showing plenty of life left.

HISTORY FILE
Since its first registration in 1997 this Carrera has covered just 55. 90km. which equates to a mere 34. 79 miles.

Present in the history file is the Porsche document holder as well as the original service book and owner's manual.
