For sale is this beautiful 1979 Camaro. The body is in excellent condition with no rust and no dents. The car's stripes are painted. stripes are on front and back only. not on the roof and they are not decals. The engine is a 350 chev which has been stroked to 383ci and runs beautifully.

The car's specs are (taken from the previous owner's details he gave to me):

Z-28 rebuilt steering box

WS-6 trans Am spec 4 wheel disc brakes with WS-6 specific 9" brake booster. Stainless Steel brake lines throughout

Front sway bar is 1-1/4". rear sway bar is 7/8" Suspension handles great

Engine: 383ci stroker small block. externally balanced (4-bolt mains. Scat cast crank. GM 5. 7" rods. Keith black hypereutectic pistons) with World Products' Sportsman II heads. 9. 75:1 compression. Holley dual plane intake and a Holley 3310 vacuum secondary 750cfm carb.

Fuel is sent to the carb via a Carter 1970 LT-1 spec mechanical fuel pump and Moroso light weight fuel pump pushrod. It has a Comp Cams XE 268 hydraulic flat tappet cam. 1:52:1 full roller rockers with hardened pushrods and a double roller timing chain.

The oil pump is a Sealed Power M-55A standard volume pump with the Z-28 spec. high pressure relief spring.

Transmission is a B&M TH350 with 2400 stall B&M Holeshot torque converter. shifted by a B&M console Megashifter. 65mph yields approx 3000 rpm Cooling system consists of Edelbrock Victor Jr aluminium waterpump. aluminium radiator - the engine fan is a massive 18" (from a Lincoln Mark VIII) and is controlled by a thermo control. The engine temperature stays consistently between 180 - 195 degrees farenheit no matter what the temp is outside.

The car has 16 inch American racing Torque Thrusters and these particular wheels are first generation Torque Thrusters which I believe are very rare now.

Any questions please email me.   This car will be missed but it's time to focus on other projects so it's time to sell. Buyer pays all shipping costs.
