1966 was the last year Ford offered the original Mustang fastback.
This is one of the last first generation V8 fastback with some GT options.
We purchased this fastback from South western Arizona. The town of Yuma is near the Mexican border.
The last owner. a Mr Fleming only sold the car to enable him to fund the purchase of his late fathers 50`s Chevrolet.
After purchase I drove the Mustang on a four hour drive through the Sonoran desert in 108 degrees.
Some first test drive! The car behaved impeccably. It was an amazing experience driving a fastback through the wilderness. just dessert and cactus's with the only sound the V8 roar! Which i think you can hear
a little of in the video.
The car also has power-steering . automatic transmission and disc brakes making the drive even more pleasurable.
