The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC)
and its successors from 1959 until 2001. The original is considered
a British icon of the 1960's and its space-saving front-wheel drive
layout allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers
and luggage. influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999. the
Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century
behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the
Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right
in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the
1980's and was offered in a number of limited editions that usually
included a special combination of trim and badging.

This excellent Mini Cooper Sport. number 465. is one of the very
last of the 500 built to the original Sir Alec Issigonis design and
has covered just 30. 70 miles. It has had three owners from new. br/>the first having kept the car until 2012. The vendor purchased this
Mini about a year ago for his grandson but he has not used it. The
car is in its original specification including Radio/CD player. br/>white instruments in an 'engine turned' dash board. alarm and the
four spot lights which is a reference back to the Monte Carlo rally
days. Finished in Tahiti blue with grey roof and black and grey
interior this mini is in excellent condition and is supplied with a
V5C registration document. an MoT test certificate which expires in
July 2015 and a file containing old MoT test certificates. invoices
and sales brochures. This is an opportunity to purchase one of the
very last of the iconic Issigonis-designed Minis.

Hello there, I am very interested in buying your mini. The car looks in great condition, i was wondering if you could send me some more pictures as I am keen on a viewing but i stay in Scotland and its a long trip. Is there any rust or dents on the bodywork at all and and is the engine a good runner?
