You are bidding on a beautiful 1986 Mercedes 560SL with only 29. 00 miles!  I am the third owner of this highly desired gold and black beauty.  I will miss seeing heads turn every time I'm behind the wheel of this car.  It performs like expected. and has been well maintained.  It has a new BOSCH electronic ignition module ($1. 00). new BOSCH mono-valve for cabin heat control. new thermostat. coolant. and thermostat.   It also includes the hard top. storage rack and cover. full nylon cover. cloth cockpit cover (when top is down). windscreen attachment  (for improved top down cabin air flow). and CD shop manual.
This car is as pure as it gets with original paint. and original interior. no collisions. and only minor blemishes ( a small ding on the front right fender and on right rear stainless bumper cover. and minor stone chips).  This car has only seen rain 3 times and has never been driven in snow or salt. The car has always been stored in climate controlled garages.  There is no visible. or hint of rust.  anywhere!  The rims are very nice with only minor blemishes on the polished aluminum.  Tires are like-new Goodyears.  Battery is strong.  The spare is perfect with matching rim.  The car jack. and first aid kit are still with the car. as well as two top tools and owners manual.   
This car was throughly inspected by a certified Mercedes Mechanic before I bought it in 2012 and he said if I didn't buy it he would.  I am selling it to help with college tuition for my daughter.  Only my love for my daughter and her future would separate me from this car!
If you have always dreamed of owning a 560 SL then I can promise you will not find a better original with less than 30. 00 miles unless you were paying "still in the box" prices.

The Buyer will be responsible for researching and determining the shipping costs and will make all arrangements for vehicle pick up.  The Seller will agree to store vehicle for a fee of  $100. 00 per month. paid in advance for a maximum of 4months from the close of the auction.  These fees will be paid as a separate transaction between the Buyer and Seller 

On Dec-28-14 at 06:05:00 PST. seller added the following information:

I feel obligated to report that I was messaged by a bidder who noticed. n the photos. a small bubble in the paint at the bottom rear corner of the right front wheel well at the rocker panel.  I checked this out and He was correct.  It is very minor. about 1/2 inch.  but it does suggest a hint of beginning corrosion there.  
I also failed to mention that the upper and lower radiator hoses were preventatively replaced in the spring of 2013.
