1967 Porsche 912 Coupe
Very Original and Rare Combination

This 1967 Porsche 912 Coupe is a gorgeous little car.

There are few vehicles out there that can compare aesthetically to the early 911's and 912's.

Pure in form and function. you have to experience one for yourself to know what all the articles and in fact. entire books devoted to these special cars are all about.

Just in the past few years people have begun to realize the true value of these remarkable automobiles. and the prices have reflected accordingly.

This particular example is a 5 gauge. 5 speed. 6604 Light Ivory on Red.

A recent repaint in the proper colour is of very high quality and looks excellent. The interior is spectacular and very original. dash; seats. headliner. carpets and door panels are in excellent condition. In fact. the seats. carpet. and door panels appear to be original. The gauges themselves are in very good condition and I absolutely love the green dials and chrome centered needles. I can't stress enough as to how nice this car is. interior. exterior and mechanically.

The motor is a fresh rebuild down to the crank and runs strongly. doesn't smoke and features the standard small oil leaks that are typical of these. The brake system is fully rebuilt. suspension is fresh. fuel system refurbished. battery is new and the entire car has received a thorough going over.

The Pirelli tires are brand new. the wheels and hubcaps are in very good condition.  This 912 comes with Tool Kit. Jack. Spare wheel and tyre and owners manuals.

A huge concern on these early cars is rust. thankfully this car is dry and rust free. In fact. out of all the cars we have sold in recent years. this is the most rust free car we have seen. The floors are original and are in extremely good shape. The smugglers box and front pan are also free from rust and in amazing condition.

As far as the driving aspect goes. this one drives great! The gearbox shifts very smoothly. brakes are strong. car tracks straight. suspension action is well dampened and the car is free of excessive wind noise and leaks. The wipers and lights all function correctly and the charging system is operating as it should.

This is one of the finest short wheelbase Porsche's I have had the pleasure of being around. If this was a 911 instead of a 912. I have no doubt that this car would fetch upwards of $70k +++ in this condition. These cars are just as much fun in their own right and are a bargain in comparison.
