Up for sale is a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. Factory bench seat car with original engine and transmission.  The motor was rebuilt 2 years ago and upgraded with a few mods. Starts right up on first key turn no matter how long it's been sitting in garage. Very healthy and reliable powertrain. this car is in excellent mechanical shape and can be driven anywhere today. Clean California title in hand with current registration. Car has matching set of CA classic license plates as well.

The car was cosmetically restored in 2010. It included a new paint job. interior. and most of the chrome trim. The car looks original aside from the new Daytona blue metallic paint job. this was originally a “springtime-yellow” car from factory. The new color goes really well with the stock black interior and looks stunning in the sunlight. I had the front bench seat upholstery. carpet. and headliner replaced just last month because they were starting to show signs of wear. It has all original sheet metal and glass in great shape. No signs of any rust issues or previous accidents on body or frame. Doors open and close perfect and everything lines up great. All windows roll up and down fine. The paint has minor chips from use over the years but still looks very clean as you can see in the pics and It can definitely be enjoyed as is. I didn't paint the trunk area so you could see that everything looks just as it should and there are no major rust issues just some light surface rust that can easily be cleaned off with some sand paper. This is a great daily driver classic and gets excellent gas mileage as well. Recently upgraded with power brakes to make this pony stop on a dime.  Also added a Pertronix ignitor with an MSD coil for faster starting. The fuel  tank was dropped and thoroughly cleaned out a few months ago. Tires are brand new and have less than 200 miles on them. I just had the exhaust system completely replaced from the manifold all the way back. The car sounds like a V8 and everyone that hears it before opening the hood can't believe it's an inline six. This car has lots of power and can cruise at freeway speeds without any issues. It's ready to be driven anywhere. All electrical works fine including; lights. gauges. heater. wipers. and turn signals. It has an aftermarket mustang radio with iPod hookup but needs new speakers hooked up. Suspension feels nice and tight with no play in steering as is very common with these 50 year old mustangs. I have a ton of invoices and paperwork that goes with the car along with a box of original parts. Also has new rubber pony mats that I only removed to take pictures of the carpet.
