1973 was the final year for the classic Ford Mustang!

 

 This particular 73 Ford is simply stunning & is presented in its beautiful RARE factory correct color

{6C Medium Yellow Gold}!

 

This beautiful Mustang has only been painted once outside of its factory original covering.

 

It has only been owned by two people.

 

The original owner kept the car for many years. The vehicle was kept 100% original and unmolested until it changed hands a short time after he sold it.

 

The second owner had the car painted by a retired body man who worked for Pudman Ford.

 

The outcome of the finished product is nothing less than amazing!

The exterior is extremely smooth. shiny & soft to the touch!   

 

 

The paint has a lot of depth & shows wonderfully at dawn or dusk.

 

The color of this classic pony is coined {Medium Gold} & it garners attention ever time it makes its appearance!

“Compliments consistently abound”.

 

This Mustang has spent its entire life in a dry/ controlled environment.

 

Therefore the body is rock solid & the panels are laser straight {no bondo}!

 

I believe any classic car enthusiast would be very impressed with this vehicles overall condition.  

 

All of the body lines of this Mustang are incredibly true & the seams are all uniform.

In regards to the cars structural integrity the vehicle is above reproach.

 

The doors. trunk & hood all shut tight.

The front sport urethane bumper is in great shape & the rear chrome bumper is very nice as well.

 

 

The surrounding factory glass & front windshield are also damage free {windows roll up and down properly…not off track like most}.

 

 

 

I would also like to mention that this 1973 Mustang has not been involved in any accidents.

You are truly taken back to yesteryear each & every time you crawl into the driver's seat.  

This vehicle was recently entered in a local Mustang car show & classic car corral.

 

It took second place. There were 23 other cars in its competition class {1971-1973 Mustangs}.

 

Another one of the attributes that helped push this Mustang to the top of the class was its original immaculate interior!

 

The interior décor group color was designated Ginger by factory standards {CF code}.

The seats are in phenomenal condition & extremely comfortable.

They are actually original & look as if they have never been sat on. There is one frayed egde on the driver's side (nothing at all but always worth mentioning}.  

 

This vintage pony looks just as sharp inside as it does out!   

  

The factory door panels are in amazing condition! There are absolutely no tears. damage or imperfections.

Once again this pony has been protected and only let out of stable on nice days (it shows)!

 

Look at the others then come see this one!

 

The original dash pad must be seen to truly be appreciated. There is no color fading. tears or damage involved with it either (looks as though its been wrapped in plastic since 73)!

 

Upon further inspection you will find that the other interior components are in excellent shape as well including the header bow. pillar moldings & quarter trim.   

    

The remainder of the interior compliments the car wonderfully. The carpet & console are both in stellar condition.

  

I also have to mention the fact that this Mustangs center gauge package actually works!

Not one gauge…. all 3!

You will have no problem monitoring the vehicles performance at any time.

 

It may seem miniscule to most but I absolutely love the intricate details about this car like the fact that the classic Mustang map light still works!

 

I think I can count on one hand how many classic original Mustangs that I have found with the original map lights still working.

 

Remote sport mirrors are the order of the day for this Mustang & they also function properly. The glove box is in excellent shape & all of the markers are in proper working order.    

 

 The factory black power convertible top was replaced a very short time ago and it is in excellent condition!

 

It wasn't replaced with one the less fair reproduction tops that seems to be prevalent in the market place.

This canvas top was replaced with a NOS Ford sanctioned manufactured piece.

It fits tight & lowers with ease…. Incredible!!!

 

The original steering wheel must be seen to be truly appreciated. No cracks. no damage. no fading…. beautiful!

 

This V/8 convertible came nicely optioned with: power steering & disc brakes!

Nicely equipped and ready for action.

 

 

 

 

Now what's a classic Mustang without a rumbling V8 engine…. ?

 

There's no doubt that this Mustang is keeping in step with that argument once you crack the lid of the hood!

 

The factory power packed 351 Cleveland motor joined in union this Mustang is in excellent working order.

The complete drive train actually only has 107k on the clock & it performs like it!!!

 

I have owned several classic Mustangs that being said I don't think that I have ever driven one with a better one equipped with a 351 motor!

 

I don't know if it's the lack of use through the years or extreme care that makes the car so responsive however there's no doubt that this one's special!

 

All of the original engine decals are still present on this two owner time capsule (amazing)!

 

This pony was actually stored for several years at one point. The fluids were drained & she was covered in a heated garage!

 

 

The second owner was more than methodical about how he serviced the vehicle. I think you could search the world over and not find a classic pony that has been maintained meticulously!

 

With just the slightest touch of the key this one turns over and is ready to jump into action!

 

Once again there is a litany of service records that date back many years that will accompany this car for the next owner {a sheer treasure}.

 

With just a 107k miles (DOCUMENTED) on the car she's certainly ready to be enjoyed well into the future!

 

This vintage pony needs nothing at all to be enjoyed {FLY IN & DRIVE BACK}!

 

The original air cleaner. valve covers & other engine hardware are just some of the parts worth mentioning.

 

This one has new belts. hoses. plugs. wires. coil. air filter. oil change. thermostat & much more installed to ensure optimum performance!   

  

 

This Mustang runs AWESOME and really doesn't miss a beat when pushed full throttle!

 

 

She's …… definitely ready for your driving enjoyment!

  

The factory [C-6] Transmission engages properly & performs as if she were new!

       

“This 1973 pony has plenty of torque”!  What a great little car to cruise & enjoy!  

 

 

When cruising her it won't go unnoticed.

This one has a sings a throaty note that warns others that a muscle car is on the prowl!

 

This Mustang has spank brand new 15x8 inch magnum 500's with massive raised white letter performance radials {not even driven 10 miles yet…. receipts included}.

The car handles great…. just like a vintage Mustang should!

There has been a great deal of attention given to the suspension also.

 

I can't express just how much this classic Mustang sets itself apart from the everyday restored classic cars.

 

It is a true time capsule. All that being said the one thing that can't be overlooked when talking classic Mustangs is the vehicles underbody.

 

This particular Mustang gets a Gold star in regards to being sound and stable!

 

The floors. torque boxes & frame rails are in outstanding condition!

 

This again is the product of the car being protected and stored through the years!

 

The car has a solid trunk & sharp quarters as well!

 

All & all at the end of the day this is a Mustang that is a great investment piece. Whether you take her in as a toy or just acquire it to make the neighbors envious…. you can't go wrong with this one!  

 

This may be the most thoroughly documented classic Mustang left in existence! There seems to be no end to the service records & detailed maintenance records!

Both owners realized that this one was special right out of the gate! Almost all service was performed at an authorized Ford Dealership! I even have records of each time the vehicle was registered! AMAZING!!!    

 

I have a very reasonable reserve set on this 73 pony! There's no doubt that the new owner will absolutely LOVE this one!
