Ford still lost money on every car that came off the assembly line. This car was truly ahead of its time with luxurious mid-century styling cues combined iwth options some cars don't have even today. The Mark II came standard with power steering. power brakes. a power seat. a heater. whitewall tires and a radio. It was put together with the highest production standards of the time. and designed in a way that is as impressive today as it was in 1956 - timeless. indeed.
