1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette. Marking the 25th anniversary of the Corvette Stingray this particular example is finished in special edition Silver metallic with original Oyster leather seats and interior with cream carpets. Factory equipped Corvette polished alloy wheels and centre caps. Dual sports mirrors. Original 350 V8 with TH350 auto transmission. Power steering. Power disc brakes. Removable T-Tops.
Just completed a complete repaint including the removal of doors. onnet and glass and the fitting of a new top tint windscreen. ew A post seals. ew carpets. rake overhaul including new stainless steel handbrake kit and pads. MOT until February 2014 with tax until August and has just been serviced.
This Corvette is fundamentally unaltered from its factory specification apart from now being finished in silver only and not its original two tone paint scheme. Original Quadrajet carburetor and air cleaner. actory optioned power windows and Tilt-telescopic steering column with 3 spoke chrome and leather steering wheel and Air Conditioning-removed but included. Stainless steel dual exhaust system. Original set of tools. orvette over carpets. full sized spare wheel and padded zip storage bag for the T-Tops. The underside has never been undersealed leaving the solid original chassis clearly visible. MOT until February 2014 and taxed until this August.
One of the most beautiful cars ever made and stunning in silver. Great to drive especially with the T-Tops off now summer has arrived. with the bonus of that very distinctive V8 soundtrack.
