Ford : Mustang 2 door

Up for auction is my 1966 Mustang Fastback. When I bought it. it had been restored for the first time and was beautiful! It got drove everyday. as it got my kids to school 15 miles to and from. Unfortunately. my kids got taller and no one could fit in the back seat comfortably.  so it got parked in 2005. Since then. it sat. except to move it from building to building and it started every time. I was planning on driving it again. but. nbsp;at this point.  I have too many projects to do. so its time for it to go. It does not have all original parts. as 65 and 66 are interchangeable. and I was aware of that when I bought it. so I will pass on that info. This Mustang has a Borg Warner 4 speed transmission which works very well. .  This car was originally a 289. 2 barrel automatic. but now it's a 289 with a 4-barrel carburetor. which runs good. It does need new valve guide seals. These are dried out from sitting so long and not really being drove. It could also use a tune-up. The steering box needs replacing as there is play on this one. I have an extra. so I'll send it along to buyer. Both torque boxes need some work and so does the frame right at the torque boxes which require some welding. as Mustangs are notorious for this wear. No rust in the engine compartment. It's in good shape. Be sure to view all photos. This car has had body work. It is starting to show. Both rear quarters. upper and lower. need work. Interior is in good shape. There are a couple of tears on the driver seat. but none on the passenger seat. It has a fold down backseat and I did not get a picture of it with the seats showing but. there is a tear on the hump in the middle about 4-5 inches long The car has a new full floor pan on drivers side. which goes from front to back seat. It also has a new seat platform on the drivers side. The doors open and close . but the driver door need a bushing in the hinge. It still closes .  Trunk area is solid with just surface rust. Front shock towers are solid with no holes rusted in them. This is a running car or You can make it a restoration. What You see is what You get. The paint is not new. it's fading and chipping off. There are rust spots. but it wasn't pulled out of the woods. just moved from one building to another.  It runs and has a good start to being all it used to be.  A $500. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close. Cash or certified Bank cashiers check due within 7 days of auction close. Keys and car will be released to buyer once my bank says check has cleared. Feel free to ask questions.
