Current customer rating:
Very nice car. A buddy of mine bought this about 4 years ago in the Hamptons. Someone put a bunch of work/cash into this car! I don't have any records but I'd bet much of this car is rebuilt: suspension. exhaust. etc. Nice paint and chrome. good straight body. This was not a cheapo paint job. Currently the only rust I see is some blistering on the very bottoms of the door skins. not broken through the paint though. Underneath is solid. trunk floor is solid. Under the hood all looks solid and I believe original (body that is). By and large a surprisingly solid 71.
Interior looks to have been replaced as well. at least the seats and carpet. Door panels. center console. etc may be original. Overall a very nice interior.
Power top is in pretty good shape. must have been replaced at some point as well. There is a stain in the rear area of the top but being black it is not super noticeable. Power mechanism works fine. Header rubber looks pretty good but has had some foam added to it to help seal it. looks a bit odd. Good boot included.
Engine is nicely detailed with Holley alloy valve covers. fresh wires. alloy intake. etc.
Wheels and tires like new (about 1100 miles).
We just drove this car from NYC to Yellow Springs. Ohio. about 650 miles. nbsp;without issue. It runs and drives great. 302 w'Edelbrock 4 barrel. automatic with a mild shift kit. Dual exhaust. At about 55-60 mph the mufflers drone terribly. otherwise a nice performance sound. Quiets done pretty nicely at 70. You might want to change them though to make it a quieter car.
Nice CD/radio player.
If seriously interested. give me a call. I don't mean to waste your time so please don't waste mine.
