 Up for sale is this 1984 Mercedes Benz 300td wagon. This is a very nice and all original wagon with fairly low miles for it's age. This wagon was bought new at Intercontinental Motors Inc in Texas and I believe has most if not all of the options available at the time for this model. This wagon has spent it's entire life in dry climates and it shows as there is no rust at all on the body or undercarriage. 100% original paint with original pin stripping. dealer logo on back. and all original interior being in very respectable condition for it's age. The clear coat on the roof is starting to get weak. Body is all original paint with no signs of any metal or body repairs. The body is very straight with the exception of small scrape by the drivers wheel well as seen in pics. The interior is all original and in good condition for it's age with some signs of the usual fading that these cars are known to acquire in dry/hot climates. This wagon runs and drives excellent with all electrical and mechanical items functioning as they should: All lights. turn signals. dash lights and controls. front and rear wipers. horn. radio. antenna. power locks. power windows. cruise control. fog lights. front and rear wiper squirters. heater. gauges. tach. clock. etc. all functioning as they should. The A/C does work but could use a recharge as it does not blow as cold as it should. All glass is original and in good condition. Some recent work includes: New tires. front and rear brake rotors. front and rear brake pads. front and rear brake flex lines. brake fluid flushed and brakes bled. oil change and filter. new air and fuel filters. injector purge. new cloth braided diesel injector return lines. original alloy wheels stripped and powder coated. new Bilstein front shocks. Hella H4 headlight upgrade. new front and rear wiper blades. and more. This wagon has just over 171k original miles and this is still low for these wagons as they are bulletproof and will do many more than that faithfully. The engine runs strong and is solid. The transmission shifts well in all gears. The SLS system is fully functional with no leaks. I have had a number of these wagons over the years. and this is by far the best running and driving one I've had the pleasure of owning. This wagon has plenty of power and speed for a daily driver or commuter and gets decent mileage for what it is. I usually average around 28mpg on the highway driving at 75mph with the flow of traffic. Mechanically this wagon is in excellent condition and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country and back. I could go on with details and praises of this wagon. but it is clear to see the condition of and how well this wagon was taken care of over the years. Overall this is a very special wagon in a RARE color combo that is sure to give it's new owners years of enjoyment.
