1969 Mustang Restomod.   This was a dream car professionally built over the last 3. 5 years.   Work began with an original California car that had its original panels intact and had no rust repair. still has its original floorpans. trunk etc (no bondo in this car whatsoever).   The original car was an S Code 390 GT Sportsroof car in Silver Jade.   The rotisserie restoration began in 2011. nbsp;seams were sealed. car was primed. block sanded to perfection.   After research we selected a Total Cost Involved (TCI) complete suspension kit (adjustable coil-over design) was fitted to the car which includes tubular subframes that connect the front and rear of the car for significant structural rigidity.   The TCI system utilizes the NASCAR type rear torque arm setup.   We also upgraded the brake system to the Wilwood 6 piston brake calipers and 13" slotted and drilled rotors (proportioning valve included). nbsp;and ordered a larger front sway bar (for flat handling) and a power rack and pinion steering.   A complete new wiring harness was fitted to the car.   A new Ford Racing Aluminator crate engine (we were told this was the first forged Coyote engine shipped from Ford Racing) and Superchager were installed with the upgraded 10 PSI pulley kit.   Cooling for the new engine is via a Griffin Aluminum 3 core radiator. along with the Ford Racing heat exchanger for the blower.   The engine ECU is custom mounted into the fenderwell. the fly by wire gas pedal was adjusted for proper heel toe alignment and the throttle body breathes fresh air thru the driver fenderwell.   We specified the upgraded Tremec T-56 6 speed in the "Magnum" 700 Ft Lb rating and a 900 Ft Lb McLeod clutch and Steel SFI rated Flywheel to insure reliability.   Strange supplied the 3rd Member (3. 50:1 gearing). the Axels and a Torsen diff for excellent traction.   An Aeromotive 15 gal Fuel Cell neatly mounted in the trunk complete with 1000 lph in tank fuel pump. fuel Pressure regulator. Fuel Filter and pressure gauge feeding Stainless steel braided hoses.  A six point roll cage with removable door bars along with TCI subframes makes the car a very stable and safe platform.   New steering column with Sparco wheel and functional horn.   The woodgrain was removed from the dash. smoothed. and then painted to match the wheel centers. Dakota Digital VHX gauge kit specific to the 69 replaces the factory units. we installed their carbon fiber kit gauge kit with blue lighting. including the BIM and sensor module.   We also replaced the Mach 1 Clock on the passenger side with a Dakota Digital unit that can display the time as well as any of the monitored engine functions.   A Vintage Air kit was installed to handle heating and cooling. with custom vents fabbed into each side of the dash for the AC outlets.   The car was designed with an sport/race theme. but has Factory (2012) air conditioning. modern CD sound system with sub. amp and 4 speakers and Sparco R505 seats up front. rear seating area replaced with fiberglass insert (carpeted) that houses the rear speaker set.   DynaMat was installed on the interior of the car as well as the trunk area.   Sequential LED taillights were installed for a fresh look.   Almost all components were replaced with new such as: dash pad. door panels. headliner. nbsp;front spoiler. marker lights. grill. headlights. carpeting all glass mirrors etc.   some of the original stainless trim pieces were utilized if they were in quality condition.    The rear quarter air vents are also custom pieces. they do not overlay the body as the factory ones did. they are custom fitted and mount flush with the panel.  The car rides on 3 pieces True Forged Wheels with brand new BFG Rival tires.

The car built by Allison Rod an Custom in Shelbyville KY (his work speaks for itself).   It was finished in metallic Dupont Blue paint by Keith Allison. color sanded to a show quality finish (5 coats of clear) that just has to be seen.   The hood is a custom fiberglass piece made from a mold of the original hood. the builder added functional air inlets at the front and then fitted 2013 production heat extractors at the rear which are also functional. the whole setup mounted on Ring Brothers Billet hood hinges.   The car was tuned on a Mustang Dyno to make a safe and reliable 550 HP (on pump gas) at the rear wheels (dyno sheet available) by renowned Ford tuner Lee Blankenship also in Shelbyville KY.

The car was recently completed (currently less than 100 miles). and I just had it professionally photographed so build pictures as well as high res images of the car are available.   Car is located in Louisville KY. inspection available upon request.

This is a no expense spared custom build that looks like a show car. but can be driven anywhere. just hit the key and go.   All of the modern equipment and attention to detail not only make this this classic muscle car stand out. but it drives like new with modern features and phenomenal performance.   This is a very expensive build. my loss will be someone else's gain and you will not have to wait.

Included with the car: Custom Car cover. SCT tuner. extra set of Wilwood Brake pads and a Build Book with wiring diagrams and manuals on the car and equipment.   Delivery and 28' Enclosed Aluminum Trailer also available at additional cost (within reasonable range of Louisville KY).

I am willing to ship the car internationally. all cost for shipments (freight or taxes will be responsibility of buyer).

thanks for looking

Philip
