Porsche : 911 2 DOOR

I HAVE TO SELL MY 1977 PORSCHE 911.

HERE'S THE STORY.

I came to the US three weeks ago and bought this car in order to export it back to Europe.

Got this beautiful 911 steel slant nose conversion from a dealer in MA (19. 00$). got the car towed to NJ (700$). replaced the front fenders to the ones I like… got some new 17 BBS LM and matching new Toyo tiers (3. 00$).

While my shipper is taking care of exporting document the car was parked at my cousin driveway in NJ. and I flew back home.

Unfortunately. I got a phone call yesterday saying the car caught fire on its front end. fire department put it down and saved my ass…

To make a long story short:

The car is a 1977 Porsche 911 cabriolet.

It has a 1984 3. 2 Carrera engine attached to a 5 speed 915 Manuel transmission. I was told Conversion was made 5 years ago. and the car was parked in a garage for two years prior my purchase.

I was told the car had oil change less than 100 miles ago. and oil was fresh when I checked it.

Car was driving beautiful when I took it to put the wheels on. It runs strong and all gears shift smooth.

All gauges were working prior to the fire. and showed good oil pressure.

DRIVE TRAIN IS INTACT AND IS UNDAMAGED WHATSOEVER!!!

As for the damage.

It caught fire near the battery (front left side). so trunk area is totally burned. the dents you can see in the pictures are caused from the fire fighters tools trying to pop the hood. They did not succeed so they had to break the pass side window and dented the front lid and left fender.

Front tires are gone. left rim is bend. front bumper and all that connected to it are burned.

Windshield is not broken but I think it has to be replaced.

There is a lot of smoke damage inside the car. some melted plastic parts. nbsp;

The soft top didn't catch any fire nor has the dashboard.

Leather seats are fine just needs a good cleaning.

Really hate to sell this car but I really don't have a choice I'm not there to fix it.

I have the set of the original Porsche 18's wheels and tires that will come with the car. You can see in the pictures.

I believe the car is very much fixable. just needs the front end parts and some labor and you'll have a very strong running 911.

Parting out would definitely make $ but it would be a shame cause it really has a great personality
