This is an all ORIGINAL 1970 300SEL 6. 3 with only 55712 miles. This is a significant model in the history of Mercedes-Benz and this specific car is as significant as it is not restored but just how it came from the MB factory in January 1970. The old axiom. "they are only original once" truly means something in the case of this 6. 3 and it's value to a MB collector. This was owned by the original owner up until 2012 when our client. a Mercededs collector purchased it. The color code is 460 which is Dark Red Brown which was very hard to capture in the photos but the name aptly describes the color. very elegant and rich. All original owners manuals are present including the service history which shows that it had been serviced at the MB dealer in Birmingham. MI right up until September 1993 at 51635 miles. The car was purchased new from Horst Ruschke at Wood Motors North which became Fiske Motors then Estate Motors as you can see from the service stamps. All features and accessories function. AC blows cold. Becker works as does the power antenna. all windows and the locks work. the clock keeps perfect time. all the heat controls are working and YES the air suspension works. No rust. solid undercarriage and chassis. This is a fabulous example of a 6. 3 that would be the center piece for any collectors garage.
