Ford : Mustang 200 Sprint Package

         In this auction I have a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Numbers Matching Muscle car equipped with a  200 Sprint Package. This car came from South Carolina 13 years ago which has been stored in a dry garage. Prior to purchasing this vehicle. the engine which is a 200-straight 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual shift transmission were rebuilt. The shifter is located on the floor. The car odometer says 43. xx miles. which could be 143. xx. The brakes are manual.  The chrome is on the car is nice.  The undercarriage was chip guarded professionally from the prior owner. The body was stripped at one point which has been sprayed red and gray primer. My professional experience with cars. this car will need to be stripped as the primer is 13 years old. nbsp;paint was never completed. The pictures in this auction show the car disassembled as my plans were to send it through the paint shop. but I thought I would try selling it on Ebay the way it is. If I don't get my price. then it will be painted professionally which I will be asking in the higher price bracket. It's hard to find an unmolested Mustang as most have changed everything for racing.

   Condition of this Vehicle:  Interior is in excellent condition. The interior is the original color blue. The seats. headliner. door panels front and back. dash pad and carpet all in great condition.    

    Body: The body is in nice condition. wearing all the original sheet metal. The rear quarters are in nice condition as they have never been replaced. The passenger rear will need some sanding and minor repair. Door jambs. rockers. door seams. fenders. undercarriage. frame. hood. fenders. trunklid seem to be all solid. Doors shut nicely. the body is remarkably Clean and straight. Undercarriage has been chip guarded. I removed the gas tank and sending unit to strip the paint in the trunk. I sealed it with etching primer and resealed with new trunk caulk. I did find one small hole approx. 1 inch by 3 inches on the driver's side which any mig welder could fill this as it is very minor for the location. The tank is still out of this car so the trunk can be painted.

Engine bay has been painted black as the pictures will show the condition. Engine has been rebuilt and painted.

Frame: The frame is solid. never seen Salt as it was purchased in Carolina. The Suspension looks good as it sits level. I think it may need shocks.

Suspension: The suspension looks good may need rear shocks. Front brakes have been changed. Also the following new parts as well are new: Drum wheel oil seal. wheel cylinder. new bearings. new grease. spring kit and brakes. The drums are in good condition in the front. The rear brakes will need to be looked over as the rear wheel cylinder leaks brake fluid.

Wheels: I have all four original hubcaps with the original 14 inch factory steel wheels. Tires don't match but good tread.

   The pictures show the parts that are included in the auction. I do have the gas tank and sending unit not pictured but looks new. will be included. I also purchased the paint materials as follows: Automotive Etching Primer. Sealer primer and Numbers Matching Color Coded Paint which will be enough to spray the car. These will be included with the auction.

       Overall this car is in solid condition.  This car will need to be trailered as the rear driver's brake wheel cylinder leaks-no brake pressure. the transmission linkage needs adjusting for the clutch. no battery. There is an indent in the winshield on the passenger side windshield which could be filled/repaired perhaps or I would have the windshield replaced.  I do have a Clear Title for the car.  The car is located in Western New York.
