Hello. What you are looking at here today has been in our family for many years. It is a 1988 Mercedes 300 CE "sportline" coupe. This is the first year Mercedes built the coupe that lasted through 1995. This particular car was sold new here in Atlanta Ga and has lived here all it's life. It has never seen salt or snow and has a pristine body (that was stripped and repainted about 3 years ago. professionally). I drove this car for a number of years and later gave it to my son and it was always maintained correctly.  Front seats redone maybe 7 years ago then rear seats done maybe 3 years ago (at time of repaint and refresh). Now there is a new baby and sons wife can't get baby seat in the rear easily. soooooo. a member of the family must go on to a new home. This car has 197. 54 miles and has only ever had a valve job (with seals etc. ). It runs and drives like a tight 50. 00 mile car. It has great radial tires and later style chrome Mercedes wheels. The car has a lot of life left in it and it is still beautiful. I drove it this morning and it drives great. I tried all the windows and drivers side rear window was stuck (so probably needs grease as this car has done a lot of sitting the last 2 years). The transmission shift great although it is leaking some (probably clear up with some use). These are pretty cars and very timeless in their design. We would like to see it go to a good home but it is going to sell. so please do not bid if you are not prepared to pay at the end of auction. I will not sell before auction ends and it goes to highest bidder. so good luck. By the way. you can easily fly in and drive this car home to anywhere you might live. Thanks for looking.
