Ford : Mustang Mach 1

 Here I'm selling my 69 Mustang Mach 1 BIG BLOCK 390 4 speed. I have owned this car for 12 years and have only driven it about 700 miles so it is time for someone else to enjoy it and I can put the money towards other projects. This car is refinished in its factory and very sought after Gulfstream Aqua paint with Black Mach 1 interior.

Car has undergone a recent cosmetic restoration by one of the best Mustang restoration guys in the area as well as an interior freshening up. Including new seat covers . new carpets door panels and headliner. When you open the door it smells like a new car inside. Even the clock works on the passenger side. All gages work as they should.

Undercarriage was repainted 3 years ago and at that time the complete front suspension was gone through including new upper and lower control arms with balljoints . ushings and springs. The rear got new leaf springs and all bushings as well as shackles. The steering components are still the original inner and outer tierods that the car was born with as well as the idler are and pitman arm. You can tell this car only has the almost 57K miles the odometer reads

390 engine and wide ratio toploader 4 speed were rebuilt last year. Engine is still standard bore with Edelbrock aluminum heads . lue Thunder intake and Comp Cams solid lifter camshaft. Holley carb was gone through as well. Rear axle is the 9 inch with 3. 50 ratio traction lock. Engine is believed to not be original to the car. I cannot read the date code and no VIN was visible but is a correct C6ME block. This car was an automatic from the factory so the toploader is not the original transmission. The C6 was gone when I bought the car and I did the 4 speed conversion. As you can see it was done correctly. The toploader is a wide ratio with a  Hurst shifter and the clutch is a Center Force Dual Friction. The pedal effort is very light like a hydraulic clutch.  

Brakes were all done 3 years ago as well including calipers . ads . oses . aster cylinder and booster . rake shoes . ardware. wheel cylinders. drums and parking brake cables as well as all of the metal brake lines were replaced.

All glass is original except for the new Carlite windshield.

Fuel tank. fuel pump and all the metal fuel lines were replaced also.

Radiator has been upgraded to a full aluminum style for driveability and keeps the engine cool in all conditions. This car was built to drive and enjoy.

This Mach 1 is nicely option from the factory with Power front disc brakes . 390 big Block. Fold down rear seat. Automatic transmission (now 4 speed)  and AM radio (now AM/FM)
