Totally Nut & Bolt restored 2 years ago by the highly respected Lotus Outlaws Garage. nd hardly used since.

MK2 Lotus Cortina Series 2. one of the last ever registered on a J reg.

The car was completetly stripped down to a bare shell. blasted. and then every rotten panel removed and replaced with all new original NOS panels.
Starting from the front. It has had a new front panel. slam panel. new head light panels. new radiator panel. pair of front wings. near side inner wing. pair of mint doors. new inner and outer sills. new boot floor. new rear quarters. new back panel. new battery panel. new wheel well. new lower rear valance. new A posts and new hinge posts. The shell was then painted in top quality ICI base coat and lacquer to give it the ultimate deep shine.

Every nut and bolt used on this car has been re-plated or replaced.
She rides on refurbished genuine lotus steels.
A short list of other new parts includes. all new break pipes. new NOS servo. new clutch pipe. new break. and clutch master cylinders. new clutch slave cylinder. new hand break cable. new washer bottle. new stainless steal exhaust new. new wheel cylinders. new track control arms. new inner and outer steering arms. all new bushes. ew servo pipe. new regulator box. new coil. new solenoid. new top mounts. new fuel pipes. new water and heater pipes. new badges. all new chrome including bumpers. door handles and rear trims. new shocks. new boot carpet. new spare wheel cover. the list goes on and on.
The engine runs strong with lots of new parts including new carbs.
This car has not even done 200 miles since.
The cost of professionally restoring a car today to this standard is more than the asking price. ithout buying a base car
The paint job alone was 5K.
This car is truly an outstanding example of these beautiful cars. Chris at Lotus Outlaws will confirm its probaly the best he's done. nd i would defiantly say it is one of the best in the country.
It has a known history from the 80s and has never been re-shelled.
Please note i have seen a lot of cars recently go for around about the 25k mark and a lot of them are what i would class as substandard. and certainly not in the same league as this car.
Do not confuse this with one of those cars as this car is correct. immaculate and concourse. and an appreciating asset.

I'm happy to P/X with anything interesting

Good afternoon,
I’m enquiring on behalf of my father, who is interested in your lotus. Could I please ask if it is still for sale and whether the sale is private or trade? I’d be very grateful if you could let us know. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Leah Johnstone.
