This 1969 Camaro pace car is the real deal. Coded Z11. Built the very first week of 1969 pace car production. Assembled in Norwood Ohio on the fourth week of February (02D).  All 1969 Z11 pace cars were built between the last week of February 1969 (02D) through the first week of May 1969 (05A). Not many of 1969 Z11 pace car were factory big blocks. I purchased this Z11 big block pace car over ten years ago. and really have enjoyed it. I've done a lot of work to this car. both inside and out. My goal was to rebuild. and reassemble the car back to it's original factory condition. I'm not a professional car restorer. just an amateur hobbyist.  The car was originally from the south.  It's a very solid rust free convertible. Virtually no rust ever on the underside of the car.  The car has all it's original outer sheet metal. original floor. and trunk pans. All body gaps are real nice. The only panel replaced was the top dash panel. This was replaced due to moisture damage to the ends of the panel. Damage happen while the car was in storage for over twenty years by the previous owner. I still have the removed part. Overall the car looks great. and drives nice. It's far from being perfect. it's not a trailer queen.  But I have won several local car shows. and cruise nights with it.  The car is totally fun to drive. and is very reliable. Everything on the car works. Every component on the car has been gone through. and returned to period correct appearance. and condition. Completely rebuilt the engine. transmission. driveshaft. cooling system. nbsp;fuel system. ignition system. nbsp;braking system. steering. front suspension system. exhaust system. electrical system. rally sport hide away headlights. cowl induction system. convertible top. and the entire interior to include rebuilding the tilt column. Five new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's 215-70-R14 on restored 14X7 rims.  The car has the original factory date coded bumper jack assembly.  The factory style dual exhaust gives the car a nice rumble. The rebuilt driveline has the car shifting. turning. and stopping like new.  The 12 bolt posi differential was in great condition.   Car has very nice low end torque. a mild lift camshaft was installed. Car cruises nice at 70 mph.  I did 90% of the work on the car myself. Really too much to list. Please keep in mind. nbsp;45 year old convertibles are generally drafty. noisy. and leak. Cars this vintage will need to be tweaked and adjusted from time to time.  I always preferred to drive this car with the top down on nice days. Car has always been kept in a heated garage as long as I've owned it. Car was featured in the 2013 Snap-On calendar.  A new copy will go with the car. Comes with an official 1969 Indy 500 program. orange parade boot. yellow track caution flags. bumper flag holders. magazine articles. 969 pace car book of matches. and a set of 1969 vintage Illinois license plates.  A wall banner and a cool 69 pace car sign will also go with the car. I also have the original key chain from the dealership where the car was purchased.  I do not have any other papers or the protecto plate for the vehicle. I do have a clean Illinois title in my name. This is a good car. and great investment.  The car is insured through State Farm for $100. 00. Most of these rare Camaros have been repaired due to rust. and may not retain most of their original parts. This is a good example of a clean 69 big block pace car that has maintain most of its factory parts. The first eight pictures of the car in the listing are current. No VIN# on front block deck pad or on block near oil filter. Please ask as many questions as you would like. Thanks for looking.  Below is the list of the cars components.
