There are many parts in the trunk to finish the car along with a Power Disc brake conversion as pictured.

* * * ONE REGISTERED OWNER SINCE NEW !!!! * * *

Here's the scoop. nbsp; I bought this car from a gentlemen who bought it from i'm told the Original owner who bought the car Brand  New at  "Butler Chevrolet inc. "  452 Broad st. New London. ct    This gentleman told me the the original owners let car sit for 20 years and at that point decided to let the car go. So this gentleman played with it alittle himself but ultimately never did anything much with it himself.   A couple of the things I know he did do was put a 4bbl. carb on it and he painted the jambs black so he could have a triple black convertible instead of it going the original white. Now I'm told the car has an original 50. 94 miles. Now obviously I can't swear to that because I wasn't there in the 40+ year period but after looking the car over and seeing how UNBELIVEABLY rot free this car is I would be inclined to believe the miles are correct.  It doubt it could have spent a lot of time on the roads with a body as straight and clean as this one. Also most all of the chrome is original 1970 and shows extremely nice.   No doubt the car must also have been garaged as I don't know any other way it could have made it 44 years with no rot or chrome this nice.

  So. nbsp; now after getting the car painted base-clear in black I started to assemble some of the chrome back on it.   The paint has a beautiful deep shine from being sanded and then buffed. I noticed some paint blemish on the trunk lid and left quarter when I got it back. I was told I could get it taken care of back then but never did. I see before installing the wheel opening moldings you can still see the original spot-pinch welds  on the rear quarter panels around  the rear wheel lips.   So now as I finally get some time to start working on it again  the car has since developed a noise in the motor so that's basically where I stopped.   Now after looking for some numbers on the motor is see the casting numbers look to read 3970010 so after looking up in a couple books I believe this could be the original motor. The build sheet shows it to be a 350 V8. So someone can either go thru this motor or build the car of their choice with maybe a Big Block "Super Sport" conversion. ??  or whatever. That's up to them.   I'm also told this car was a special order when new. I do have a Build sheet that will go with the car. It is an original Bucket seat with console car. It has a power top and power steering but needs a canvas for the top.  The dual exhaust is a few years old but has ZERO miles on it. Also included is another left side window as the current one has some sandblasting issues from when the car had some sandblasting. That extra left window will go with the car. I see the key buzzer still works. A couple of items I see on the build sheet that are still with the car are two "GM" door edge guards and a "GM" outside remote mirror that also still has very nice chrome. It also has a zero mile 4 core radiator. I'm unclear if the front fenders are just beautiful rust free originals or if they may have been replaced with new. They are also exceptionally nice. I do know it has a new cowl hood with the door.   The car has a good looking dash and a recent battery. It also has had a new front windshield installed. As I say there are parts in the trunk to go back on.

as usual the car is sold as is.   This description is mearly my opinion so let me know if you would like to set up a time to see the car. If you are unable I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection service.

I received when I bought the car a bill of sale and the transferable registration / title which has the ownership transfer section on the back side.  These were just signed and handed to me. so the new owner can get plates with this. If anything else is desired you could  use Broadway title.

I am looking to receive a 300. pay pal deposit immediately following auction end.

THIS IS GOING TO MAKE SOMEONE AN AWESOME BIG DOLLAR RAGTOP WHEN DONE.

Final payment due in either in a  check. a bank to bank transfer or cash upon pick up.   Any check must fully clear the banking system before the car or paperwork leaves. Please be sure to understand this so it is clear. My bank tells me any check including a bank check can take up to 10 working days to fully clear the system.

As mentioned in the listing the wheels + tires belong to a friend so the car will come with rollers.

As far as the motor noise goes I never dug into it my plan was to replace it with a Big Block.   Thanks
