Buy a Corvette or any decent body style Chevy. then do the following:

- Fix the rust

- Body and paint

- Trip to the Chassis shop for narrowed rear end + buy all of the parts needed to do so

- Buy / build a big block with aluminum heads and all ancillary parts

- Buy build transmission

- Buy all of the other parts needed


OR. you can buy this car for a fraction of the money you would spend. and you don't have to wait for years to have fun with it!!!!!


This Corvette is powered by an aluminum headed 454 and has a TH-350 automatic transmission (full manual) in it followed by a narrowed 9-inch rearend with ladder-bars and coil-overs with a diagonal track locator.   Rear gears are 4:89's and spin aftermarket axles.   The car was originally a 454 car (not sure if that matters anymore – but still nice to know).   Motor is not original to car.   Motor in car has flat top pistons / Howards 575L/310D hydraulic cam / Pro-Comp aluminum heads / Edelbrock air-gap “Nascar Edition” aluminum intake / Holley 750 HP series carb / Comp Cams 1. 7 aluminum roller rockers / Comp Cams pushrods  / large tube headers / Powermaster alternator / SFI harmonic balancer / Pro-comp electric waterpump / huge radiator with electric fan / large trans cooler with fan / Billet HEI distributor / mini starter / 10” convertor / Chevrolet aluminum valve covers / B&M Mega-shifter…. Lots of $$ spent!! 

Car has Nice paint and body (see pictures) and the factory seats have been recently recovered.   Headlights / taillights and brake lights all work.   Headlight actuators are gone. but lights can easily be put up/down by hand.   Tires are all basically new ($1. 00 worth) and are Hoosiers all around with 31”X18. 5”X15 Quick-times out back (DOT legal).   Brakes are disc up front and drum in the back.   Manual steering / manual brakes. T-Top car.

 

Car looks great and runs and drives and stops too……. If you are going to street drive it you need the following:

 


1.        Consider changing out HP race style carburetor for something more street friendly (HP should be an easy sell item - they are expensive)


2.        Interior gauges are all brand new. but need senders hooked up…. Currently using external gauges (mechanical) just to make sure everything is working right.


3.   Have parts to install exhaust system. but haven't had the time.   All of the parts I have are included with the car.   The car is currently using header style internal cone mufflers. They work but are too loud for regular street use.
