1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Hot Rod

This car started with a very nice. very rust free Model A that was restored perhaps 25 years prior. It was my project car for a year or so with my sons. The body is an all original to the car steel body. The only metal parts replaced were the running boards and skirts. rear body panel. rumble seat floor. and the floor under the seat. This was mostly due to the fact that they were a little too rough to make the time to restore them worth the cost of replacement. The fenders. doors. trunk. roof. etc are all original and undamaged. I have the full hood but never painted it. I purchased a full retro frame manufactured by "The Hot Rod Shop" in Phoenix along with a fresh TH350 trans. and a fresh small block Chevrolet. The car is fitted with four wheel disc brakes (the pictures show drums. but I switched them last winter) and an ABS Systems electric/hydraulic power brake system. The engine is a 1970's 350 small block with 3970010 casting numbers and the serial number is V075TJY. Scat crankshaft. all new cam. pistons (TRW L2257 flat tops . 040 over). valves. guides. HEI ignition. tc. The heads are actual 64cc big valve double hump heads. I can get the casting number if needed. The intake is a 1970 LT1 aluminum manifold casting number 3972116 all topped with a new Holley 650 cfm. manual choke. The rear is a eight inch Ford with a new 3. 80 posi rear. I tried to reproduce what I would call a "cut and dried. bare bones" hot rod. All go. all looks. no a/c. no heat. no power steering. just a really cool bare bones ride. The body was professionally painted in Porsche Speed Yellow (I am a Porsche new car dealer!!). black with yellow trim original bench seat. recovered original door panels. and black with yellow trim carpet. The car has an aluminum fuel cell. There are seat belts with retracting shoulder belts. The rumble seat is in the original black vinyl. All bolts/fasteners are stainless steel where possible. I spent well over 400 hours at night building this with my 4 sons and really hate to sell in but it is just sitting wrapped up in my garage. The car is three years old from being built but the body is an extremely nice 83 year old Henry Ford original. The top is chopped 3". The windshield and side glass is new automotive safety glass. The quarter windows and rear window are plexiglass. I have a full photo arrangement documenting the build including from the original car. the car is titled in PA as a 1930 Ford (which it is and was) as a classic car so there are no title issues. I have a huge pile of receipts from 95% of the purchases. Essentially the whole car is new except for the sheet metal. The car was stripped to bare metal. there was no damage. and repainted with only a "sanding" coat of filler. The car is located in Harleysville. PA. about 25 miles nothwest of Philadelphia. I could arrange trucking since I am a new car dealer but this is my private car.
