I do not have the time to put this together so out it goes to
make room for the many other MERCEDES cars we have in stock

We do have almost all the parts to complete this but at this time it is easier
to just get this rolling body out of the garage to make room for
our newly acquired 59 300d Adenauer


If you buy this rolling body we can always sell you the part to put it back together again
we have engines -transmissions - soft top frames - seats - interiors -wood
new glass - new rubber - chrome trim - hardtops etc

we also have 4 more 113's in stock as well   

I was offered $15. 00 for the rolling body about 8 months ago
since that time the 280sl has increased in value
with one example selling for over $230. 00 last month !!!


We had hopes of restoring  this car but we now have 5 MERCEDES SL's in stock that we will be assembling for project restorations  (2) 230sl's (1)250sl and
(2) 280sl's and recently acquired a very nice rust free 1959 300d Adenauer which has taken are interest in restoring the 220se coupe away !!!!
We had 3 220se coupes in stock this year and sold and shipped 1 to  Germany months ago - we also had a rust free 300se coupe which we sold and shipped to Mexico
as well as we shipped 2 280sl's in the last year - one to Germany and one to Italy .   We also sold and shipped 6 190sl's to the Netherlands to our biggest customer
in Europe along with over 20% of our entire 190sl inventory !!!!   We have owned over 177 190SL's - over 130 113 Pagodas - as well as many other
vintage Mercedes - 190 - 219 -220s ( currently we have 3 of them in stock - 1for parts and 2 for restoration )  dozens of 108 280se's ( 3 in stock )
We have parted out 2 111's one sedan and we currently have 1 coupe in stock for parts as well . We also have a nice collection of 300d Adenauer
engine parts - blocks - injection pumps - cylinder heads (3 ) etc -- we recently got in a large supply of OEM Mercedes vintage parts including some rare

Also just a little hint as to the fact that ebays discount shipping is not really a discount at all !!!!!
It is cheaper to ship by not using them !!!!!
Just sign up with USPS and ship with click and ship and save over 10% off the inflated rates ebay has !
Then just come back and post the tracking number so you are not punished by ebays BEST SELLER program
which is also a POS as well as they revise it to make sure you can not get the discounts
I really think the people at ebay spend 90% of their time working up ways to make the top sellers
lose their discounts !!!!!!   It worked on me ! I was a top seller and them ebay took my discounts away  because 3 international buyers ( in the last year )
used the  ebay system ( which steers them into clicking on ITEM NOT RECEIVED )  ( without contacting me first ) to ask where their packages were ( when the tracking is right in the details !!!)
and ebay said I had failed in my auctions and I got docked and lost my status !!!!! When it was not my fault at all !
