Nicely restored - rust free - ready to enjoy - Fast

Up for auction is a very cool and rare 60 Bel Air 2-door hardtop.   Most Bel Air's were post cars or 4 door models. most of the 2 door hard tops were Impala's.   This Bel Air has a Tri Power 348 big block and a Borg Warner 5-speed manual transmission.  

This beautiful car has been fully restored to high a standard.   The body is very straight and was mostly rust free prior to the restoration.   All of the quarter panels and other body panels are original along with all of the floors and rockers.   There was one small patch in the trunk area that was correctly fixed.   Its hard to find a 59 or 60 Chevrolet that has not needed floors. quarter panels. rockers etc. replaced.   This is one of the nicer bodies I have seen.   The body was block sanded straight and the paint is show quality.   All of the glass is nice along with all of the chrome and bright work.   This car sports original 60 Chevy steel wheels with correct Bel Air  (hard to find) poverty caps.   The correct 348 grill and deck lid emblems are in beautiful condition.   All of the chrome window frames. and pot metal parts are beautiful and free of pitting.  

The interior is nearly flawless and finished in correct Bel Air fabrics.   Its not cheap or easy duplicating Bel Air interior . s most replacement interior kits are "Impala" style.   This car is very correct inside.   The seats. carpet. door panels and headliner are fresh and look perfect.   The dash is neatly finished with fully restored gauges that all function properly.   All weather strip and door seals are new and soft.   The windows glide up and down like butter.   All of the locks and doors open and close smoothly with no need to slam them.   

The engine compartment is nearly show quality detail right down to "GM" hoses.   The engine was rebuilt and runs like a dream.   No leaks or smoke from this powerhouse!  When driving this sleeper it is surprising how fast it really is when the outside carburetors come on.   The clutch is smooth without any chattering and the transmission is solid and goes through all five gears smoothly.   New 2 1/2 inch exhaust with flowmaster mufflers give it a subtle muscle tone.   All of the suspension and brake system is rebuilt or replaced.  

This 60 has it all.   It runs. drives and looks great.   It is truly a great driving car that is tight and smooth with plenty of power to surprise others.   Clean and open title in hand that is ready to transfer ownership.   Please call with questions  303 475-4544.    Bid with confidence.
