1979 Jeep CJ7 Renegade V8

Up for bid is my 1979 Jeep CJ7 Renegade V8  4 X 4. Sadly. I am selling due to relocation out of the country.

I am the 2nd owner; the vehicle came from South Dakota – a SALT FREE State –

The Jeep underwent a restoration less than 1 year ago. Restoration included a complete stripping and re-paint with new OEM decal work.  A new interior including seats. carpeting. etc were installed. I replaced ALL rubber weather stripping. One can imagine the cost in this alone. A new quartz clock was installed as well

As seen the Jeep has a factory Hardtop / Doors. A bikini top and ½ doors are also included.

The vehicle is in incredible mechanical condition with everything in working order. The key to my vehicles has always been to be able to turn the key and go down to the store or go on a 500 mile trip !

Drivetrain is solid as well as much of the front end being replaced. The 304 V8 runs flawlessly. idles between 6-800 rpm. and does not burn oil. While the 304 V8 is stock. it has been fitted with an Edlebrock carb. Recent mechanicals have also included a new water pump. fuel pump and Interstate battery. A tune-up occurred in March of this year. The vehicle has its original set-up for A/C however unfortunately during the restoration the dash unit grew legs and disappeared.

The Goodyear tires have less than 1000 miles on them; new 16 inch American Racing wheels were fitted at this time.

Vehicle has Hella 700 FF driving lights installed.

The vehicle has a respectable Kenwood ( removable face) / Sony sound system.

I have an original Jeep steering wheel if new owner would prefer.

Buyer(s) will not be disappointed. This is a very respectable vehicle that I wanted to restore to its “original” look – Good Luck with your bidding !

By no means am I representing this as a “Show Car” – The Jeep is so nice however that you would be hard pressed to take it in the woods –
