Cadillac : Eldorado standard

 93k. 500 V8. Options include passenger side mirror. 60/40 split bench seat. cruise control and tilt steering wheel. All original including am/fm auto-seek stereo with 8-track tape player (included in trunk. cassette player in dash).  

New exhaust system from engine back in December 2009.  with muffler and resonator. runs well. Rebuilt carb in 2006. Three year old new front brake calipers. rotors and pads as well as new valve cover gaskets. exhaust "donut". new belts and hoses. Recent new master cylinder. New brake hoses and 4 new tires last year. then put away.

Convertible top replaced in 2007 with glass back window with defrost ($200 additional over plastic window). Top was functioning easily but now the plastic screw ends of both drive cables have disintegrated and cables will need to be replaced.  New weatherstripping for top and trunk still sealed in boxes. included with car.  

Power windows work. right rear windows need a little help. Interior needs the most work as seen in the pix. seams opening on the front and rear seats and crack on driver's door armrest.  Driver's power seat "clicks" but doesn't move. passenger seat works.  

The air conditioning and climate control actually works properly through all vents! A/C compressor turns on and works but does not blow fully cold. needs to be topped off with R12 or retrofitted with modern freon.  

The paint appears mostly original. but I do see some touch up areas. There is some bubbling in paint here and there. Carpet is a bit faded but no rips. o damage to dashboard.  Door panels and are good except for the driver's armrest. The bumpers are a bit dull but straight and the stainless trim is in very nice condition. The body lines are straight and all panels line up as original. Floors. frame and trunk floor are solid. never patched. no rust through I can see. Body sheet metal appears all original and only has a few small rust areas. Nothing like an eastern car normally is. Its as clean as any south/western non-rust belt car would be. The car has been garaged most of its life.

Drive while you restore it or just drive it. Its currently registered and inspected and can be used.
