Beautiful 85 Vette. paint is real nice and just rebuilt the Doug Nash 4+3 Standard Transmission. Car runs and sounds great. just put through Pa Inspection and needs nothing mechanically that I know of. We even have the original Window Sticker for the car. I mentioned above the few faults that I am aware of (radio speakers and drivers door lock) other than that she is real clean and ready for a new owner. We are only selling it for this amount to get it off the lot before winter sets in. and I have to pay for storage until the spring. If you are looking for a beautiful vehicle and want a great price here it is. I have it on the lot for a lot more money than here and if I have it next spring it will even be higher. We are a dealership so if you are a Pa resident we have to charge tax and all MV fees. out of state buyers we can arrange an intransit for you. The 1985 model year was the second year for the C4 series of the Corvette. During this model year. 39. 29 Corvettes were sold. The base price was $24. 78.
For 1985. updates were done to improve the ride of the vehicle. This was done by adjusting the shock valving on both the Z51 Blistein gas shocks and the base shocks. The spring rates in the fiberglass transverse leaves were also modified and helped with the improvement.
The front wheel size were enlarged.
For 1985 the Corvette received the new Tuned Port Injected (TPI) version of the 350-cubic-inch small block. The output of the V8 was increased to 230 horsepower due to the new and much more efficient induction system. The ‘L98' engine was joined to a more comfortable suspension resulting in a significantly improved Corvette.
