Hello Hot Rodders . If tradition and nostalgia are what you're in to. look no further as this could be the car for you! Up for auction is the world famous official Viva Las Vegas '32 Roadster . More photo's have been taken of this car than probably anything else on the planet.  As you can see. it is a very traditional period correct looking Hot Rod. but what makes this so special is the fact that the drivetrain is modern. This makes for a very dependable . drivable . and enjoyable car!

The overall look of this Roadster is reminiscent of the 1940's and early 1950's.  Its gloss black paint . louvers. mild pinstriping . King Bee headlights. and '39 Ford "tear drop" tail lights are pure Southern California Hot Rod!  But what add's to the finishing touch of this car are the "Big & Little" tires and simulated '35 wire wheels. Up front are a set of 5. 60x15 bias plys and out back are a set of 8. 20x15's. The wire wheels have been powder coated gloss black for durability and an overall clean look.

World-renowned custom culture artist "E-Dog" hand painted the iconic Viva Las Vegas logo's on both doors. Again folks. this is hand painted but looks like a decal.

Inside the cockpit the nostalgic emphasis continues as the tuck & roll upholstery is done in Ox Blood red (something that was extremely popular in the 40's & 50's). Well known Hot Rod shop "Lime Works"- out of Whittier California installed their traditional column shift and simulated '40 Ford steering wheel. The Deuce dash is finished off with a series of gauges that work perfectly. Inside you will also find a stereo system and seat belts. The car also comes with a tonneau cover which snaps on the upper portion of the doors. under windshield. and behind seat area. This encapsulates the entire cock pit and actually gives it a Dry Lake/Bonneville Salt Flat racing appearance. The actual body of the car is fiberglass but an excellent body with a great fit & finish.

Under the hood lies a potent 350 cubic inch small block chevy. Its equipped with a mild  cam. block hugger headers. aluminum intake. 4 barrel carb. and HEI distributor. Again. dependability was the objective with this car. A Turbo 350 automatic transmission is mated to the engine and it shifts very strong. A 9 inch rear is mounted out back and geared for highway use. A set of dual glass pack mufflers are installed with a set of "pee shooter" chrome tips exiting at the rear of the car.  While we're talking about the rear of the Roadster. you will also notice that the car is registered to a set of 1932 California plates. These will gladly go with the car.

Folks. this is a nice turn key Hot Rod that you can drive anywhere. Its not a show car where one can eat off the undercarriage. That being stated. its a very nice well known car that anyone would be proud to own and drive anywhere. And thats what this Hot Rod was designed for!  Ask all questions prior to bidding and or buying. All sales are final. There are no exchanges or warrantees. Car can be shipped anywhere in the world. We know of a couple very reputable auto shipping companies. Buyer pays for shipping and we will make sure that the car arrives in a safe and prompt manner. Feel free to call me any time. and have a wonderful day. Tom (562)-234-9524

I am proud of my Ebay feedback rating so I am going to list here a few things that are not quite 100% on the car.  Some of the interior trim needs re attaching. Passenger door latch spring needs replacing. The door still closes properly. Slight oil leak from engine. Fuel gauge not accurate. Body has some scuffs and marks on it. On the steering wheel a small part of the black coating has peeled off. The gear indicator is not accurate but is easy to get used to.
I have listed as much as I can think of. I will welcome any inspection. If you want me to email you photos of any parts of the car I can do that also. I want you to be happy with your purchase and make sure that you are informed about everything to do with the car.
The car has a clear title and is currently registered in California. It  is sold with NO WARRANTY. If you are interested. I urge you to find the time to come and look at the car before bidding. We are in Los Alamitos in California (near Long Beach). To view please PHONE 562 234 9524 or EMAIL tom@vivalasvegas. net
