Stunning Custom Ford Coupe, Frame Off Build

1947 Full Custom Ford Coupe

Underwent a total frame-off build which took eight years to complete.   Was purchased in April 2009 from an owner in Los Banos. California who originally purchased the '47 from the Barrett Jackson auction.   It took another three years to completely rework the engine. install new wiring from front to back. update the leather upholstery. install new carpeting on the floors and trunk and add new paint and pin-stripping.

Below is a detailed list of all work performed on the '47 from 1998 to 2012:

Body

All Steel

Chopped 3 1/2 inches

Channeled 6 inches

Hood Decked with NCAA scoop and sides removed and hinged side to side. cowl tapered with hide-away wipers

Nose fabricated to integrate with grill

Front fenders widened and flared 4 inches

Rear fenders widened and flared 2 inches

Frenched headlights (pop-up) and taillights

Floor boards removed

Firewall narrowed and smoothed

Floor. trunk and tub pans fabricated

Seams shaved and removed

Keyless entry for doors and trunk

Hidden trunk release

Customized under-body hooks for tie-downs

Fully functional gauges located on the driver's side fire wall

Chassis

Custom frame using 1947 Ford Motor Co. with new 2" x 4" boxed steel front. rear and tubular supports

1978 Z-28 Camaro coil over shock front suspension

Morrison 4-link coil over shock rear suspension

4-wheel disc brakes

Ford C-6 transmission with Bandit shifter and line lock

Ford 9 inch rear end. narrowed. with Detroit Locker and 3. 71 gears

Engine

Newly rebuilt 351 Cleveland with Roller Rocker comp cam and lifters. Edelbrock high rise manifold. Pro Form 750 racing carb. custom fabricated headers with electric cut-outs. new exhaust system. engine cooler. oil cooler. all new wiring front to back. battery kill switch

Exterior and Interior Finish

New exterior paint with custom pin-stripping

New custom leather interior

New carpeting throughout. including trunk

Panasonic stereo system with flip-up screen

Mickey Thompson tires (18" rears) with Centerline Wheels all around

Best of Show from Hot August Nights at the Peppermill in Reno. NV 2010. Best of Show from Rod Runners 2011. Best of Show from the Junction's 29th Annual Car Show in 2013 and the list goes on and on.

The Haulmark trailer is available for $15. 00. 00.   The trailer will not be available for sale until the '47 Coupe is sold. as this is what I use to transport it currently.
