Porsche : 911 CARRERA

1985 Porsche 911 Cab. 3. 2 with a 915 transmission. This car was in storage for 8 years. We drained the fuel. put a new fuel pump. and it started right up. It smoked for a few minutes. and hasn't since. It leaks from the passenger side valve cover. I will include a free valve cover gasket kit with it. I've driven it around a few times. and it goes through all the gears. and brakes as it should. Begins to hesitate around 3k RPM. This is probably due to it needing a new fuel filter (that's my guess. and it's not a representation of what it may actually need). Interior is in good shape. but does require some TLC. Dash has cracks from heat due to lack of A/C in the storage unit. Also. due to the lack of A/C in the storage unit. certain parts of the car have some rust on them. It's limited to the gauge bezels. wiper arm nuts. certain nuts. and bolts around the car. etc. There is also small rust bubbles on the top of the fenders. The car itself is surprisingly rust free. Starts on the first try. Needs a battery. Needs paint as the clear coat is gone. A/C Blows. and compressor kicks on. but doesn't blow cold. Probably needs gas. Tires are okay. and will last you a bit while you get the car properly sorted. Although it runs and drives. it isn't 100% road worthy. Would need a proper going over before putting it on the road. This car should be considered a project. albeit an easy one as the hardest part (it runs) is not an issue. Odometer does not work. Car has one dent (see pics) just over the passenger side tail light. Convertible top has two small rips (see pics). I took pics of the front pan. and what you see in the pics is dirt. not rust.   I've explained this car to the best of my knowledge. and want to let the winning bidder know it's true condition. I exaggerate the condition of every car I sell. to the buyers benefit.
