1934 Rolls Royce 20 /25 Landaulette by Barker finished in Sky Blue with with Midnight Blue wings having perfect Beige cloth to rear Black leather to front. The car spent is first 35 years in London and the South East coast. The car was shipped to the U. S. A where it enjoyed 25 years in the famous James C Leake The car had coachwork restoration in the UK in 2005 it was brought back by well-known Rolls-Royce collector Doug Nixon. and was repainted French blue over navy matching the original colours of the famous PIII experimental car of the same year. used by Henry Royce at le Canadel and displayed by Ristes at the RREC Annual Rally in 2005. Sargeants of Goudhurst carried out a full engine rebuild in 1998. and installed a new high-aspect-ratio rear diff (17. 5 percent higher than standard). At the same time the roof was professionally replaced using the best quality Mercedez Benz material. the car was completely re-wired (in correct colour coded cable provided by Ristes). the radiator was re-cored and lots of other detail improvements carried out (such as the fitting of proper leather gaiters. period-style indicators etc etc). It has won a number of prizes at shows over the years. including taking the “Best of Show” title at the prestigious Concours d'Elegance at Sarlat in 2011; this was covered live on ITV in the UK. It was used for some weddings between 1997 and 2002. and the colour proved exceptionally popluar with brides; in 1998 it was used for ITV's “Bride of the Year”. and the footage is still used by ITV today whenever they do any sort of feature on weddings. It was also used by Berkertex in their bridalwear advertising. and was displayed for several days at the launch of the Berkertex store in Bluewater. Avery smart and eye catching 20/25 in excellent condition. Would make a perfect addition to any wedding fleet. equally suited to a private enthusiast.
