This is a perfect truck for someone who wants a unimog but not the hassles of an older vehicle.   I bought this because it was in good shape. well maintained and knew it would not need a lot of servicing or special attention.   You can go anywhere or do anything with this truck. 42" tires. 20"+ clearance and massive power. Draws tons of attention on and off road. Details below.

1980 MB4/94 CASE 406 U900 Unimog Mercedes. Excellent vehicle for collector quality truck off road. or investment. Won 1st Place Germanfest XXII. September 7. 2008 Larz Anderson Museum of Transportation. This is the Special Lake Placid -“OLYMPIC” Edition. Very few of these imported and only a few remain. The Case delineation makes it extra heavy duty. extra thick frame. extra gearing etc. It was originally used as a plowing truck in the lake placid olympics. My understanding is after the Olympics. the truck was garaged for a long time never exposed to the elements and driven minimally. Prior to me it was purchased and overhauled by a unimog enthusiast.   The frame and basics were all stripped down and redone. All bolts etc have been replaced with stainless.   Since acquiring truck. has been in a heated vapor proof garage never driven in rain or snow. Its a excellent vehicle with no issues I am aware of other then some minor spot rust on back of cab which is pointed out in one of the images. Frame is in excellent shape w/ no rust or deterioration. Drives and runs great. Continental MPT81 tires are in excellent condition with plenty of tread.   Truck comes with extended height cab and extra noise padding. The truck has front and rear hydraulics. and front PTO with rear PTO option. 1200# weight plates on back of truck. 20 gears + high/low. Low miles. approx. 18. 0 miles and approx. 1575 engine hours.

Truck includes a hydraulic mower and street cleaner attachment in excellent condition minimally used worth $3-5k.
