A Code Fastback

Sale price: $31,500.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "The rebuilt (1995)289 engine has 2318 miles and has the hypo exhaust manifolds along with a slightly modified cam and flow masters. The original Ford carburetor was replaced with a Holly 650. It is not known how many miles the chassis has because the original odometer was lost and had to be replaced. There is no known rust and has been in California all its life. This is not a concourse restoration but has been continuously restored by me, the second registered owner I have owned this vehicle for over the 20 years. The rear drum brakes were replaced (yr2000) with Disc brakes by Mustangs West. The air condition has been completely redone including the original compressor and works. All wiring looms have been replaced, and the pony upholstery was replaced in 2000 and looks/feels like the original."

The is beautiful California Ford GT Fastback "A" Code 2+2 Mustang with no rust. It has the comfort of air conditioning (all original) and pony interior. I am the 2nd registered owner and have had the car restored from the frame up over the last 20 years. It has all Disc power brakes. and the tires are slightly oversized. It has little to no Bondo. Most of the metal. as well as other parts. are either from Ford or from good replicates. One fender and the hood are aftermarket since we could not find the original Ford parts. This is not the original color of the car. It was originally White.  It has an original looking AM/FM Custom Sound Radio that has an MP3 connection and speakers throughout as well as an electric antenna. The reason for selling is that I am retiring soon and moving. I have loved this car since the day I saw it in a barn in Lake Elsinore in 1995. I would like it to go to someone who will keep it for a long time. Because the car hardly is driven some of the seals may leak. However. I only find a drop or two every so often. nothing major according to my mechanic.
