Up for sale is my 1969 X33 CodedZ/28 Camaro with 99. 00 documented miles on the Certificate of Title. This is an early 69 model Z/28 that was built in late 1968 (12C / 3rd week of December 1968) for the 1969 model year. It's also factory documented as an X33 trim package car by a yellow crayon mark on the right rear bulkhead of the rear seat metal partition. I removed the rear seat to allow me to take a photo of the abbreviated X3 code for the X33 package.

This is a very nice rust free and solid car that retains all the factory original sheet metal with the exception of the GM Cowl Hood. which was added over 20 years ago when the car was repainted. This Z/28 came from the factory with a flat hood as most Z/28 did back then. I believe the Cowl Hood was not available until January of 69. but not absolutely sure.

This Camaro is in great shape for being a 45+ year old vehicle. This Z/28 runs. drives. shifts and stops as it should. It's very dependable / reliable and fun to drive. The car shows well and can be easily taken to any local car cruise or show without being embarrassed of it. It's structurally sound with no body rot or issues. The underside; floors. rockers. trunk. frame rails are rust / rot free and in perfect condition. Even the metal dash at the base of the windshield / cowl. a common rust area is not rusted at all and I believe it never was. The bottoms of the fenders also look excellent as do both the bottoms of the doors. I have pictures showing the rust free bottom of the doors. while the car was on the lift.

The car is powered by a non-original 302ci / 290hp engine. due to the block being replaced at some point for an unknown reason to me. However. the original dated 186 double hump heads and 472 intake manifold were reused along with some other original components including the 1178 crank shaft. The factory 660 case M21 transmission (P9T18 B) is the BORN with trans along with the BV Coded differential (411 gears) which is also the factory BORN with rear. The rear's stamped date (BV 12 _ _ G2) on the axle tube is hard to read for it's partially worn off by the exhaust system rubbing on the tube at some point during the vehicles life. I have also included a picture to show what I'm referencing.

The car is originally a Fathom Green car. white stripes and black standard interior according to the trim tag. which is also pictured. The car was re- painted a different shade of green over 20 years ago and is straight. However. the car does have some scratches and chips. but shows well for its age and still shines. The tires are in good shape and mounted on 15x7 YH rims with the 4 outer clip trim rings and caps.

This Z/28 is an unrestored car that's had one repaint but never totally disassembled. The car retains all of its original sheet metal. which says a lot about the condition of the car. The interior is also in amazing condition and original for being 45+ years old. The only item that needs to be replaced or repaired is the headliner. which has come unsown at the seam. I am including a new in the box reproduction headliner for the car. The console is in great condition and the shifter is not the correct factory installed shifter. The Rosewood wheel is in excellent condition with one minor crack at the three o'clock position. The original AM radio is also missing. The dash carrier is also in excellent shape with the radio opening not modified.

This Z28 has no power steering. console gauges or tach in the dash. Most people don't know that Z28's could be ordered or that they came without gauges also. The exhaust bracket on the left rear frame rail is present and I have a picture showing the bracket.

This Z/28 over the years as most cars received several Day 2 performance parts. so its missing some original parts. However. it still has some of the correct original parts. i. e intake. cylinder heads. non- dated 772 fan. CB Radiator. 837 Alternator. Deep Groove Pulleys. 692 water pump. 309 Master Cylinder. 9204 Brake Booster. Two Piece Rotors and original dated 633 Calipers.

I'm sure that I have missed something but I have honestly and accurately described this Z/28. If you have any questions or specific picture requests please contact me through Ebay or at (302) 753-1311……. Joe.
