1974 XJ6L Series 2 Jaguar in British Racing Green. A very honest car. very straight excellent paint no rust. has been garaged all it's life. The interior is in decent condition normal cracked dash pad showing signs of minor wear. Car has sat in garage covered up (with a professional indoors car cover) out of the elements. and untouched for 3 years during this time registration has run out. Recently the steel overflow reservoir has been (welded/painted) as it was a little rusty. new viscous fan fitted. new coolant. new high crank amp battery. starts easily but runs rough. the fuel tanks need draining (not rusty. just very stale fuel) - which is obvious by the odour. automatic was rebuilt 8 years ago by all state transmissions in Brisbane twin SU carburetors were rebuilt shortly after. it really is a beautiful car and with some basic maintenance will be a wonderful car to drive again.
