When new the car was exported to Australia where it was sold by the Vinot dealer Leitch Brothers of Melbourne. The car re-emerged from an extended slumber on a cattle station in the '80's & a body off restoration was commenced in 1997. The car was found to be in decent mechanical condition. but this did not stop the restorers from replacing every single bearing except for the engine mains in bronze which were in excellent condition. Most body panels were retained. but new mud guards had to be fabricated matching the originals.

A new fuel tank was made. & new steam bent timber bows for the "one Man" hood were made. At the same time a sumptuous green leather interior of the highest standard was fitted. Every part of the mechanicals were disassembled & renewed as required including the oil pump gears etc. The wire wheels were stripped & re-spoked. the car sitting now on correct beaded edge tyres.

I was on a five day rally last year at which the car was a participant & can attest to its excellent running & hill climbing abilities. the rally being run in the Austrian Alps. It always starts instantly & is a pleasure to drive. It is a car that has had everything done & needs nothing more then extensive driving.
