1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing for sale

This car has another wonderful story. 3. 00 miles on the motor since. The colour and interior were changed at this time. It was originally a silver car. It is the earliest Gullwing we've ever come across. The chassis number indicates that it is the 24th Gullwing built in the first year of production. It is a rare find and worth holding on to. The concave star grill is original and very rare. It shows the car has never been in a front collision. The early grills were replaced with the flat front later models if ever damaged. The eyebrows should be attached with beading instead of lead. This car should also have the goose-neck gear shift lever. Those parts are available from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Centre. I would encourage the next owner to bring the car back to original specifications in the next restoration. It is something our shop would he happy to do either now or down the road. The early Gullwings are by far my favourite. I think they represent the best value long-term for collectors as they are the purest form of 300SL.
