Up for auction. a rare and very amazing 1976 Jeep J10 Honcho. Original paint California truck with original decals! Truck is 100% rust free and is as clean as it looks if not more so. Paint is worn in spots. has some scratches and blemishes as you'd expect but overall still very nice. Some blistering and a dent on the hood I tried to show but overall very much dent free and unabused. Stripes are faded and alligator grained but the originals from 1976! Personally I like the patina as they are only original once. I have a set of reproduction Honcho stripes I'll include if the reserve price is met. The Honcho was a pretty unique package with bold stripes. levi interior. and other minor cosmetic differences but are very hard to find these days. especially original and rust free. Guaranteed to only go up in value so get in now! Odometer shows 56. 00 but take it how you will there is not much way of knowing on a vehicle this old but it's pretty believable. Great glass. very nice chrome and stainless. Tires are new been sitting a while so some dry cracks but plenty safe. Previous owner had the turbo 400 trans rebuilt and it shifts good. Transfer case is painted. not sure if they did anything to it or not. Widetrack dana 44 axles. 360 AMC with holley 4 barrel. Dual exhaust. Sounds nice. like a V8 but not obnoxious. Engine runs sweet. very nice manners and fine power. Has low range lever under seat and it works. Also has emergency lockout in glovebox. will get a pic. Not sure if it locks but it does respond when you switch it. All the gauges work. all the lights work except high beam which I'm guessing is just the bulbs. haven't had time to look into it. But all turn signals. reverse lights etc work perfect. New upper and lower radiator hoses and new thermostat housing and thermostat due to the old one leaking. Has aux trans cooler added as well but not sure it was towed with. Inside of the bed shows it was a loved and little worked pickup. I bought it out of the desert of California and had it shipped to upstate NY this past winter. Still has parts of the CA emissions decal on the windshield. I have done a bunch of odds and ends to it and now it's time to move on. The next thing to put the truck over the top will be to redo the interior to OEM Levi material and put it all back to blue. The previous owner changed some of it to black and had the seat redone in vinyl. If it doesn't sell my next task will be redoing that. It looks fine and only really needs a carpet but would be killer with new Levi seat and doors. Still has the original buttons in the door panels. not sure whats under the seat cover. Dash is broken in speaker area but I didn't get a pic. I didn't get a carpet yet knowing I might sell it and figured the new owner would like to see the amazing untouched floorpans! You could eat off the things! The frame and floors and all of the undercarriage are in excellent original. rust free condition. I removed the wipers when I waxed it and realized I forgot to put the passenger side back on before the pics but I have it and it will be on before it goes. Also someone put an incorrect Jeep emblem on the drives fender in place of the missing J10. Other than that it is pretty untouched. First year of the Honcho package and super hard to find condition. Amazing color. amazing body. Just a great rare pickup that will only rise in value if you take care of it. They don't grown on trees and rust free ones wearing original paint are hard enough to find without the Honcho package. Truck is a nice runner too. great for cruise in's or a night out. I drive it locally a bunch but never been on long trips although I would surmise it should do just fine. AC doesn't work and not sure why heater core is unhooked. Power steering. tilt sport 3 spoke wheel. power disc brakes. Overall it's an amazing find that any Jeep or classic truck owner should be proud of. I have taken around 100 photos and will try to add them all. Please only bid if your serious. $250 non-refundable deposit due within 48hrs of auctions end. I will help arrange reasonable shipping if needed. Any questions just ask. you can email me her or reach my cell at 518-281-605eight and thanks for looking.

Just wanted to add a quick note. I did paint the tops of the front fender flares. They were sun baked to primer and the previous owner tried to touch them up but the paint didn't match. I sanded them back down and blended with single stage acrylic enamel in the correct color. Matches very good. never any rust on them or dents! Picture before included. Rest is all original paint for sure! Thanks
