 1953 Mercedes Benz 170. I am told this may be 1 of only couple in the U. S. as they were never shipped to the states. This one was purchased from a military man that had it shipped over.   It has been in our family for over 30 yrs. The engine was rebuilt about 6 years ago. It needs some carb work and some brake work to get it running. It was repainted about the same time the engine was rebuilt. To my knowledge there isn't any bad rust other than surface rusting. Car has front suicide doors. rear open normal and trunk is hinged at the bottom.  It was my grandfathers dream to drive it in a parade. Unfortunately he passed 2 years ago and was unable to get it running again. The car has been inside a shop for as long as I can remember. The car is as is where is. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to see the car prior to bidding. I will try to answer any questions that I can. but I don't know much about it as I am listing it for my uncle. We will not arrange shipping or load it for you. You will have to load it. We only accept cash or cashiers check. Cashiers check will have to clear at the bank (usually 3 days) prior to releasing the car.
