1957 GMC NAPCO Civil Defense Panel Truck - SUPER RARE for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 666 votes
Up for sale is one of the rarest NAPCO trucks in existence - with only 6. 75 ORIGINAL miles.
Unfortunately. I now need to free up some $ to take care of other obligations. Side note - I will also have two other true NAPCO trucks (not conversions) for sale in the next 30-45 days. One is a 1958 1/2 Ton Chevy Big Window Fleetside & the other is a 1959 3/4 Ton Chevy Apache Big Window Fleetside - both have meticulous frame-off restorations.
Anyhow. this truck. is the rarest of them all. It was originally ordered from GMC by the Civil Defense in Colorado.  It's a 2 owner vehicle that was stored in the Granby. CO fire station for almost 20 years.  The truck runs and drives great and everything works.  It did receive a second paint job that is peeling off and fading in areas but there is no rust.  The only surface rust that I could find is pointed out in the video.  Paint this truck. give it a little tune-up. and this is a museum quality vehicle.  Some believe there are only 1-5 of these in existence. I believe my gal would have the lowest mileage.  Needs no body work.  Ideally. the original wheels could be procured and this would be an upgrade. I do have some GMC 16" wheels that will be included with the sale. the 17. 5" are hard to find. (I do have the spare)
