Up for your consideration is my pickup that I have had since September 1987. When I bought it. there was no engine or transmission. It was just a rolling shell fresh from Texas. The only rust was in the lower cab corners from mud collecting there. I replaced them. I also removed the fuel tank from behind the seat and installed a 16 gallon plastic fuel cell from Summit racing below the bed. The access to it is in the floor of the oak and stainless bed. As can bee seen. nbsp;I had the hood louvered. The engine is a 1974 Chevy truck 350 with 4 bolt mains. It was rebuilt with a Crane cam. Edelbrock intake and a Q-Jet. Before I got this truck. I had it in a 77 Chevy truck while I was building this one. The turbo 350 transmission is from a 1977 Chevy truck. The rear end is a Dana 44 posi with 3. 55 gears. The original 6 lug axels were removed to be sent out to Mosier to be plugged a redrilled to the truck 5 bolt pattern. The front spindles are from a mid 70's pickup with power disc brakes. The wheels are 15 inch truck rally wheels. The tires are Cooper Cobra Radial GT's. Fronts are 215/70-15 and the rears are 275/60-15. It has traction bars on it. The exhaust consists of headers. 2. 5" pipes about 5' long to 2. 5" Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The neighbors all know when I am returning! There is some extra chrome on it such as the glove box door. ash tray. e-brake lever. cowl panel between the hood and windshield. tailgate chains and the steps. The tailgate chains have chipped up the paint but I just couldn't cover them with hose. The tail lights are the 41-46? Chevy car lights recessed in the rollpan. The body work and paint is 17 years old but it still looks ok. It is not a perfect show vehicle by any means but it gets a lot of looks when at shows. cruise-ins or in parades. A cover is included with it. If you have any questions or wish to see more pics. just ask and I will get back to you as soon as I can. (I don't have a smart phone so my only access to e-mail is from the computer. )
