This is a real 1970 Torino Twister Special. nbsp; there were 90 Twister Troinos made for the Kansas City sales district in 1970 this is 1 of only 8 registered and known to exists with 429CJ/Auto. I do not have the Marti report you can get one. I do offer a 100% money back guarantee that it is a 429CJ/Auto Twister Special. It is registered in the Twister registry I have bunches of paperwork and documentation with it including past owners names and contact info. I am the third. For the guys who can read a serial number you will see it is good. OA38J133440

I bought this almost 30 years ago and tore it down to restore about 25 years ago. I have acquired many NOS and used parts for the restoration. this was a running car when I took it apart transmission was rebuilt right before I bought it so I have done nothing to it. engine was just recently rebuilt using all original FORD parts by a local FORD guru. The car has been in dry Colorado for the past 30 years so no new rust has grown but as you can see the body has many areas that need work. I have several factory NOS body sections like the tail light section and battery tray area sheet metal. New patch panels are available through several dealers. I also have some spare body parts like another hood and maybe fenders.

I am not an automatic guy but the reason I bought it was because it was changed from a column shift to a floor shift and would be easier to make it a 4 speed car so I was going to convert it to a 4 speed and have some parts for that also. The interior is complete and nice. bucket seats console. door cards are nice. dash had gauges added so I bought a hole new dash.

Engine has been rebuilt but not detailed and finished and comes with the new rolling stand it is mounted to. all extra parts for the car that I have acquired are either correct for the car and/or date coded for the car. I kept all empty part boxes and old parts. It comes with 2 complete Shaker setups. two correct dated coded carbs. 2 dashes. I even found an original correct exhaust heat shield that covers the manifold. Again this was a complete running Torino when I took it apart so everything is here plus much more that I have bought for the restoration over the years.

I know what it is worth. how expensive it is to restore. the huge risk the next guy is taking and how it is worth nothing right now and you'll be doing me a big favor by just taking it off my hands so please save the comments. if you are serious about buying and see there is still at least $25-30K profit after restoration call me. I didn't put too many pictures up and I know they aren't he best quality but you get the idea of what this is. nbsp; I do have more or can take specific ones if you wish.

I own a collectable and investment grade gun shop. will consider partial or full trades for firearms or for a 4 speed piece of junk/tired but running (`63-`74) muscle car to use as a daily driver with no intent to restore so it can be non original drive train car. heater must work.

Absolutely. NO F. ING BROKERS.

HELLO,

Merry Christmas, do you still have the Twister for sale?

Thank you.

My older brother brought this to my attention. My dad had two of these in the early eighties. Unfortunately for his boys, he passed away in 86 and my mother was forced to sell the one remaining car to a friend of the family in Indiana. I have been looking and looking for an opportunity to regain a piece of family history ever since. I actually have the Mertle model off this car in my mantle. The one question is.... can I afford whatyou want for this car? So, .... down to brass tax. What is your asking price?
