2014 London to Brighton Entry!!!

A lovely Curved dash Oldsmobile with a confirmed entry to this years London to Brighton run. We will get the car to the start line for you & fire it up. All you need to do is show up & drive!!! We will also recover the car for you after the run. You need to supply the period dress. The car is absolutely up & together & needs nothing more then a driver.

The car has been under long term ownership & has been maintained without regard to expense. It has completed the run on numerous occasions. It is unusually equipped with seating for four people.

The seats are black leather in superb as new condition. Paintwork is coach painted black with red accents presenting very smartly. 4 new tyres are fitted on the wooden spoke wheels. The car has period lamps to the front & a Parp Parp type rubber bulb horn.

The car has been VCC dated at 1903 with dating certificate 1370. A brass plaque to the floor attests to this. An assortment of spares comes with the car including a new head & cylinder barrel. The car also comes with a cover & a trailer for transporting it on.

This Olds is in particularly fine order with huge compression & good pulling power. Indeed it left several similar Oldsmobiles trailing in its wake on the 2012 run. Operating & starting it involves a few of the usual veteran steps. but is easily mastered. It is on the market as an estate sale & will be coming over to us shortly from Ireland once probate has been passed. The car is currently Irish registered & bears Irish plate 03WW11071. The AM plate does not go with the car. We do have a period plate AE21 available for transfer to the car.
