Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 300 votes

Overview:
This is a good. useable 911 3. 2 Coupe with a strong. rebuilt engine. excellent condition interior and all major corrosion taken care of correctly.
Standard UK ‘C16' Sport specification including front and rear spoilers. electric leather seats in black with red piping. electric sunroof and windows. remote central locking with Cobra alarm and immobilisor. Two remote fobs and original keys are present.

Service History. MOT and Tax:
Complete service history back to 1985. with many stamps and notes across two service books. A mixture of main dealer. specialist. independent and self-servicing carried out at regular intervals.  Every MOT present since 1995 and pages of itemised receipts so you can see what has been replaced over the years.
It has just passed its MOT. so is covered until June 2015. Only one advisory for parking brake inefficiency. the tester said it was stronger on one side than the other. In use the handbrake actually holds very well.
Taxed until November 2014.

Engine:
Full engine rebuild (top and bottom end) at 166. 77 miles by a Porsche specialist (by coincidence where we bought my wifes current Porsche from). The Clutch was replaced at the same time. The engine is superb. starting and running cleanly with no smoke and no oil drips.

Other Mechanical Work:
Other recent work includes a service. belt change. oil cooler flexi pipe. four new brake calipers and brake fluid change. To improve the 915 gear change I have replaced all of the gearshift bushes. the clutch cable. shift coupling. Omega spring. changed the gearbox oil and then set it up correctly. This has improved the shift action. although 1st gear is still reluctant to be selected when moving above a crawl.
Other notable work in recent years includes a new fuel tank. fuel pump and battery. The headers and heat exchangers are in good condition. with the heater working fine.

Body and Chassis Work:
Prior to buying my 911 I read all I could about 3. 2s and spoke to various specialists about the known issues of these cars and where the possible large bills might come from. The usual advice centred on buying the best examples. however with prices soaring I chose to look for a Coupe that was generally sound save for the known areas of corrosion. High mileage was also not a concern as at this age and mileage most major components will have been replaced. I found my 911 after some searching. it's had plenty of previous owners with the then current owner having owned the car for around 8 years. The previous owner had sadly become disabled and had barely driven the car for the previous three years. As a result all four brake calipers were sticking and the car needed a service (on time. not on miles). I identified corrosion in the usual expected places and having bought the car I took it to a specialist who confirmed that it had corrosion only in the places I had already identified. With a budget set it was agreed that the priority was all of the structural rust and corrosion. which has been taken care of with the correct factory underseal finish.
The nearside kidney bowl. inner front wings. lower A posts and both sills were replaced within the last six months at a 911 specialist. This has left the chassis structure in very good condition. Complete photographic diary of three months work will be provided to the buyer. the work also included work to the inner rear arch/engine bay. engine cover release tube and sunroof drains. The offside kidney bowl has been replaced in the past and appears to be sound. I would describe the paintwork and cosmetic bodywork as average.

Interior:
Excellent condition interior with very little wear. even to the seat bolsters. MP3 compatible Blaupunkt cd player fitted. The electric black leather seats have red piping and are the most comfortable seats of any car I have owned. The carpets also show very little wear. Everything electrical works. with no warning lights on the unmarked dashboard.

Wheels. Tyres and Tools:
Excellent condition 16” Fuchs alloys with correct N rated Continental ContiSport tyres with good tread. Complete original tool kit is present with jack pad. even the original first aid kit is present although I wouldn't risk using that!
HPI clear. no adverse history and no evidence of accident damage.
